Network producer caught tailing jury bus, taken into custody
udge Bruce Schroeder banned MSNBC journalists from the courthouse during the Kyle Rittenhouse trial after a network producer was taken into police custody for "trying to photograph jurors."
The Kenosha Police Department announced Thursday morning that it arrested James J. Morrison, who said he is a producer employed by MSNBC News, for running a red light while tailing the jury's bus Wednesday night. Schroeder said MSNBC will no longer be allowed in the courthouse and that the act was "a very serious matter." This was apparently the second day in a row that Morrison had tailed the vehicle.
"No one from MSNBC News will be permitted in this building for the duration of this trial," Schroeder said. "Someone following a jury bus, that is an extremely serious matter that will be referred to the proper authorities for further action."

Now throw out the case with prejudice like 99+% of all other cases with this level of prosecutor misconduct in the first place...
They’re needed. Gives the bad guys a place to meet and let the world know what that side is thinking.
On the other hand, from what I’ve seen so far, it might be nice if the country had more judges like Schroeder in courtrooms around the country. Especially the State Appeals/Supreme courts and of course, in ANY/ALL federal courts.
Could anyone see a liberal judge doing this to the Left MSM? Heck, the liberal hack judges probably would have leaked the biographical information on all the jurors by now.
NBC News said in a statement that the man was a freelancer who received a citation for a traffic violation that took place near the jury vehicle, and he “never contacted or intended to contact the jurors during deliberations, and never photographed or intended to photograph them.”
That leaves out the FBI.
He was up to something. NBC would have us believe he had no idea why he was following them. It’s totally irrelevant that he was a freelancer.
Note that they do not say that he was not going to photograph their vehicles and license plates, which is a common practice to find out who someone is and where a person lives...
Why else would a grown man repeatedly follow a school bus? ๐ค
MARKLEY, VAN CAMP & ROBBINS were picking this apart, labeling the statement “carefully worded.”
Yes, it was. I had to come back to FR to learn that the ‘freelancer’ was an MSNBC producer.
True dat.
“Can we ban MSNBC and CNN from planet earth”
Actually, yes you can, which would be by sending them to Hell. However you’d be seeing some serious jail time or possibly a needle if you did it.
