I sent this to my Congressman today:
"If you really want to see people, especially medical people, lined up to get a vaccine --- approve Novavax for an experimental use permit. They are already in phase 3 trials worldwide with very good results.
"Until/unless we have a NON-mRNA option, a great number of people will wait. Forcing, ordering, and mandating people to take the mRNA vaccine hasn't worked yet, and that isn't likely to change.
"Please, please, please --- push the Novavax vaccine forward for us and help us feel confident enough to finally be vaccinated and protected. Thanks!!!"
Have y'all looked at the Novavax covid vaccine? It is NOT a mRNA vaccine. Traditional vaccine manufacturing techniques and it doesn't mess with our genome or build thousands of copies of virus protein in our body. This is the safest and best vaccine candidate I have seen so far. I think many/most medical personnel would agree with me on this.

I am not associated with this company or vaccine in any way other than doing internet research to try to find a “safe” vaccine. I did try to get in on one of the clinical trials but found out about it too late. There is no conflict of interest here.

The Janssen (J&J) is non-messenger RNA, but it is not non-spike protein, being the adenovirus “option”.
Novavax is also not non-spike-protein either.

Yes, the Novavax has snippets of spike protein as antigen -— however, it is a finite non-replicating amount that does not splice into the genome at any point as far as I can tell from the scientific literature I have seen.

If one is under 70 or has no health conditions seems reasonable to stay away from any treatment without a five your safety study. I guess the noble FDA threw away long term safety studies yesterday. High times in pharma going forward.

I hear you, and I agree that abortion is murder. I asked the company this when I called. The company rep stated to me that a cell line from an aborted child was used in some way associated with the testing of the virus, but not with the manufacture of the vaccine -— but no cells or proteins from any aborted cell line are present in the vaccine.
I don’t know how many vaccinations I have had in my life, but there have been LOTS of them. Some I wanted to get, some I was simply given as I lined up with the other soldiers. I have no idea which if any or all had aborted baby tissue used in research, development and/or testing. I try my best to stay away from vaccines and medications that are tainted by abortion -— that’s the best I can do.

If I am a murder victim, I am still an organ and tissue donor. I would hate to think that someone would refuse to take my heart or kidneys, or choose to remain blind without my corneas, because I died of a crime against me.

Seriously...I’ve been waiting for Novavax. Would probably consider giving it a shot.
