Awhile back, someone posted a YouTube video from this same couple, the man is a new arrival from Cuba and was overwhelmed by going to an American Supermarket. In this video according to the man, his lifetime dream was to go to Home Depot. He was overwhelmed by things like roofing materials because his roof leaked in Cuba and he could never get the material to fix it. The power tool section was from another world to Yoel, I really like watching videos like this.....
But, but ,but Cuba has free health care...
Many Americans are working very hard to make America more like Cuba.
By the headline I thought it meant that Mark Cuban was going to HD for the first time, and I thought, “Figures that rich bastard never swung a hammer.”

Me too then thinking about it Yuri and Mari have hit the jackpot. Have their own YouTube following and all they have to do is walk in to an American store and oohh, ahhhhhh cry a little to make the stupid Americans feel so superior with their greatness and cash in from youtube. I’m getting so cynical anymore.....
This makes my heart break. 90 miles away is a land of plenty, like something out of a Bible story, and something as simple as a box of nails or roofing paper is hard to come by in Cuba. So sad.
Meanwhile the snowflakes here in America are whining about equity. They’re griping that things aren’t fair. The rich aren’t paying their fair share. You want to see what “fairness” looks like? Go to Cuba.
Americans have forgotten what squalor and tyranny truly look like, and they’re voting for it like a slave voting for chains. Unreal.
It’s interesting how people think and react to certain things, not for one second when I saw the headline on YouTube for this video or until a few comments posted in this thread did I think of Mark Cuban, he never crossed my mind.....
As a middle aged man, this doesn’t make me feel superior, it makes my heart break for Cubans and others across the world who have to wait in hour long lines for chicken or milk. We have so much, I’d love to just give to the world to help them, but in reality, their governments are the reason for their squalor. Try to tell the common Cuban that, however, and they’ll shush you and tell you they’re happy with what they have. That’s the disgusting part of Communism. People eventually just accept their fate and have no desire to want for more.
I can appreciate being cynical, the older I get the more cynical about certain things I become...
But this type of video is not one of them, so what if they are making money posting their videos, I get something out of it even if they are exploiting the situation, more and more it’s the simple things in life that I am trying to appreciate and not get amped up over things that don’t really matter and that I have no control over.
Going to Home Depot and seeing everything that is for sale when 90 miles away someone has to live with a leaking roof because they can’t get the material to fix it....
Yes, I know we have similar situations in this country but not because the material doesn’t exist, maybe it’s the liberal plantation these poor people are stuck in that is reason.....
Yesterday I saw a video of North Korean Defector who attended Columbia University and she said even in North Korea they are not as crazy as the doctrine being taught at Columbia...
Today it’s a Cuban Refugee going to Home Depot and being overwhelmed....
Maybe in some small way these immigrants from where real oppression exists can help open a few eyes to average Americans...

Like I said earlier when I started the thread, the name Mark Cuban never entered my mind.....not for one second.
The last time I thought about Mark Cuban, I was flushing a 'mark cuban' down the toilet after reading about the Dallas Mavericks going down the "playoff toilet".
Both were happy thoughts.
Sad that a good portion of those power tools and other products at HD are made in Communist China. And we continue to commit national suicide by purchasing them.

It’s an unfortunate situation but if you are in the building trades or DIY work around your house it’s hard to do your job without tools, we could change that and by not purchasing certain items
So what if he is, it’s free to watch personally I hope he makes a lot j on f money
I’m cynical about a lot of things but it’s not healthy so let some of it go
