Men are dogs. Not exactly a revolutionary notion, I know, but I think it is healthy to remind ourselves of this now and again.
Which brings us to Connecticut, which is on the verge of facilitating highly desired outcomes for the dogs in that state.
What happened was that two guys wanted to use gym equipment in a health club but it was all being used, except in the women’s-only section, where it was available. When they tried to access the women-only section they were prevented by the club.
So they sued and here we are.
This could mean the demise of women’s exclusive workout spaces, something they enthusiastically make use of.
Women in one gym took a survey which showed that of 374 female members 96% said they used the women-only workout area and 71% did so for privacy reasons. Nearly 69% said they felt more comfortable in the women-only area.
Yes, it is discrimination to have two sets of rules for two genders but men and women are different.
I know, guys, it is tempting to say, “Hey you wanted everything to be equal. You want to invade all the boys’ spaces. Well if it’s good for the goose…”
But it is not the same. There is an asymmetry between men and women and we all know it.
Health is important to women and health clubs should be a place to improve the mind and body without some dude named Chad leering over from the power squat station, with only your body on his mind.

I take offense at that, on behalf of dogs.
I dont want women in mens spaces either.
No one ought to have special privileges over another and ignore the privacy and space of the other gender. They dont belong in male only areas either.
Give each their own spaces. The equipment you are born with determines which space you can enter.
Men are NOT dogs.

I suspect that we will see a lot of false accusations of sexual misconduct. Just to push the boys out of the girls areas.
We can fix that by 24x7 closed circuit TVs.
Including the locker rooms and showers.
The irony of it all.
When I was a young lad in SoCal in the early 50s, the elementary school playground had an area for the exclusive use of the girls. There wasn’t an area just for the boys. It didn’t seem fair at the time, but it did give the girls a place where they wouldn’t be bothered by us. I get it now.

So the guys can say “I identify as a woman” and there is no way they can keep them out. Problem solved (sort of).
