Biden’s calls to overturn the PLCAA would be a way to sue firearms makers into bankruptcy.

“He wants to drive us out of business,” Mark Oliva, the director of public affairs for the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the firearms industry trade group, told NBC News. “So it’s a very scary proposition, and we take it very seriously.”

And buy firearms for the military and law enforcement from overseas? China perhaps?

Haven’t the courts looked unfavorably upon states that have tried to carefully regulate abortion providers? Why would this be any different?

Moreover, if we start extending liability to manufacturers whose lawful products are used unlawfully, we’re all going to be using plastic sporks to eat dinner and driving cars that use pedals.

Baseball players are gonna love their Nerf bats.

All the “contested states” in the November election are legitimate “Gun & Hunting States”. Spoke with a guy that is a former professional USPSA shooter who moved to Georgia from California. Made the move because, “Georgia is the Number 2 destination for shooting sports, behind Arizona”.

In Georgia, aside from running in one of the Dem cities, if you want to get elected in Georgia you need to 1. Be a Republican 2. Say that you support the 2nd Amendment 3. Have a campaign pic of you with guns and maybe....4. raffle off an AR15(Marjorie Green)....You do all that and you’re the Winner.

“He wants to drive us out of business,” Mark Oliva, the director of public affairs for the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the firearms industry trade group, told NBC News. “So it’s a very scary proposition, and we take it very seriously.”

Well, maybe Mr Oliva can draft a very diplomatic letter to the Republican Majority leadership in all the contested states, Ducie and Kemp to thank them for their support last November and for laying the ground work to ruin the firearms industry.

Cops without guns doing urban policing? What could possibly go wrong?

40-years ago, Escape From New York was a fantastical dystopian adventure.

Today, it's looking more and more like an uncomfortably prescient peak into America's foreseeable future.

At the current trajectory, Mad Max doesn't' seem all that far-fetched.

Actually....Defund every single one of them. If the Mayor wants Mad Max Anarchy, let him have it. It won’t end good for the bad guys. I can promise him that.

The level of stupidity and incompetence on the part of elected representatives is astonishing. And just when you thought they couldn’t get any more stupid or incompetent, Mayor Miller steps up and says...hold my beer, watch this.

The one human being that actually and FINALLY showed a level of intelligence and competence, deserving of the position he was elected to fill, was run out on a rail.

Donald Trump was, IMHO(I was a little too young during the Reagan years), the only person capable of doing that job. And he showed it til the very end. And one of the best, and often unidentified, things I think he did was allow Governors and Mayors to do their jobs. And most of the time, fail miserably.

In Cuomo’s case, fail criminally. Interesting we don’t hear much about him, huh? Everyone seems to have forgotten about that murderer.

All through last spring and summer when the country was on fire, he offered help to all of them. He was turned down. His response....Okay. I offered. Good luck with that.

Every time he intervened and helped out, the problem was solved.

Amazing he we have to vote for.

To add to your point, so this means that all auto manufacturers will now be liable for any DUI that happens in one of their vehicles.
That precedent should go over very well.

You beat me to it. What if the US government entered a country, against international law, and killed someone. Could the family of the victim/victims sue the US government and any supplier of military equipment in use at the time? Could they sue the commander in chief?

Really the mayor has a point, I believe the cops should only be armed when they’ve got a guy who has outstanding warrants involving armed robbery who has missed court dates and who is (looking into the future now) going to resist arr-

Uh, never mind...

Use a gun to inject some Covid vaxxine.

Then it is immune from liability.
