Blacks and the KKK in History

The Ku Klux Klan was founded on Christmas Eve 1865 by Confederate soldiers dedicated to undermining the racial progress sparked by the Civil War and Emancipation Proclamation. "The KKK engaged in terrorist raids against African Americans and white Republicans at night, employing intimidation, destruction of property, assault, and murder to achieve its aims and influence upcoming elections." The truth is The Democrat party was racist then and is racist now.

Black Lives Matter and Antifa protests have primarily terrorized and destroyed property in black communities at night. BLM and Antifa have attempted to intimidate white Republicans. BLM protests have been violent and caused the assassination of law enforcement officers and other citizens. BLM is a cleverly marketed slogan that provides cover for extremists to undermine racial progress and bully American citizens to support Democrat politicians. It's not a coincidence that BLM riots pick up during an election cycle and disappear after the votes have been counted.

My analogy is not far-fetched or hard to comprehend, particularly for the mainstream media. My analogy is far more substantive and accurate than pretending the events at the Capitol on January 6 were an “armed insurrection” analogous to Pearl Harbor and 9/11. BLM, founded by self-described trained Marxists, has a stated goal of disrupting Western Civilization traditions and values. Despite the sweet-sounding name, BLM acts as a racial divider — no different from the KKK.

It's my belief that the KKK and BLM share the same intent. They use race, intimidation, violence, and property destruction to achieve political goals on behalf of the Democratic Party. Cultural changes and technological advances explain the difference in tactics between the KKK of old and its modern-day successor, BLM. Burning buildings have replaced burning crosses. Social media lynch mobs destroy a person's character, strike fear, and silence dissent.

In the KKK's heyday, a black man could have his life destroyed for making eye contact with a white woman. In BLM's heyday, a black man can have his life destroyed for expressing an opinion that contradicts the ideology of white liberals.

In Pulaski, Tennessee, a group of Confederate veterans convenes to form a secret society that they christen the “Ku Klux Klan.” The KKK rapidly grew from a secret social fraternity to a paramilitary force bent on reversing the federal government’s moral Christian Reconstruction Era-activities in the South, especially policies that elevated the rights of the local African American population. BLM freely admits that it is a Marxist secular organization. In fact the founders of BLM admit to witchcraft, calling on dead spirits to help them. Many black Christians have never heard the founders admitting that and bring BLM activities into their churches.

The name of the Ku Klux Klan was derived from the Greek word kyklos, meaning “circle,” and the Scottish-Gaelic word “clan,” which was probably chosen for the sake of alliteration. Under a platform of philosophized white racial superiority, the group employed violence as a means of pushing back Reconstruction and its enfranchisement of African Americans. Former Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest was the KKK’s first grand wizard; in 1869, he unsuccessfully tried to disband it after he grew critical of the Klan’s excessive violence. He was a Democrat.

Most prominent in counties where the races were relatively equal in number, the KKK engaged in terrorist raids against African Americans and white Republicans at night, employing intimidation, destruction of property, assault, and murder to achieve its aims and influence upcoming elections. In a few Southern states, Republicans organized militia units to break up the Klan. In 1871, the Ku Klux Act passed Congress, authorizing President Ulysses S. Grant to use military force to suppress the KKK. The Ku Klux Act resulted in nine South Carolina counties being placed under martial law and thousands of arrests. In 1882, the U.S. Supreme Court declared the Ku Klux Act unconstitutional, but by that time Reconstruction had ended and the KKK receded for the time being.

The reason we need to recap this era of history is it seems schools aren’t teaching this history or they are purposefully teaching a lie that young people would have to dig through to find on their own. The truth is the Democrat party owned slaves and Republicans freed slaves, I might even venture to say that there were NO Republicans that ever owned slaves as the Party was formed to free the slaves. Democrats were the Confederacy in the south that fought to keep slaves against the growing resistance forming in Washington against slavery. Can you imagine a Republican in the Confederacy? After the war, Republicans freed the slaves and Democrats started the KKK. As far as I can find out, historically, Republicans NEVER lynched anyone, especially blacks. Later, Republicans tried to put the KKK in legal jeopardy, but every law passed or court case settled just moved the Democrat party to morph in some other direction. Jim Crow laws come directly from the bowels of the Democrat Party. “Separate but Equal” Came as a reaction to laws passed guaranteeing blacks public schooling and seating in movies and restaurants. The Democrats promptly put in separate bathrooms and drinking fountains and separate seating in Democrat run states. Today, we have separate graduations in schools and separate dorms again.

We have to wonder why blacks today deny what the Democrats have done to them for over 150 years and how they must have forgotten true history. George Wallace stood in the schoolhouse door blocking integration as a Democrat. Before that, Orval Eugene Faubus as Democrat governor of Arkansas sent the National Guard to prevent integration of Arkansas schools.

One Democrat that cannot be overlooked would be President Woodrow Wilson. He segregated the military after Lincoln integrated the military during the Civil War. He became president by defeating Republican Taft and Theodore Roosevelt running as an Independent. During his presidency He introduced Jim Crow laws at the Federal level and supported KKK members in Congress. If you look up pictures of the KKK marching in Washington, it probably happened during his term. Even today, Democrats still hold up Wilson as a good Democrat. He was a racist through and through due to growing up in the south during Reconstruction in the Democrat party. President Woodrow Wilson even hosted a screening of “Birth of a Nation” at the White House that showed the KKK as heroes and the Black legislators in South Carolina’s capital as drunken fools.

Speaking of Black legislators, over a dozen black Republicans were elected to Congress after the Civil War and blacks were allowed to vote in the south through Reconstruction. When Reconstruction ended, that was all for blacks being elected to anything and Jim Crow began.

In the 1950’s through the 1970’s, Democrats were in the front when race riots popped up. A famous name then was “Bull Connor”. He was a staunch opponent of integration and enforced this policy with fire hoses and German Shepherds. Beating people with clubs and mass arrests was always included in his operations. If you search pictures of race riots, you will almost always see the dogs and fire hoses in use where Connor was in charge. Yes, He was another Democrat. Eisenhower was a Republican that used troops to enforce the law and integrate the southern Democrat strongholds. That’s not to say that there were no riots in the north and other places. Chicago,Detroit, Harlem, Watts and others all had Democrat government in these cities. Baltimore MD. has some of the worst numbers of any city north or south but a Republican would be run out of town if they tried to run for any office. Baltimore has been Democrat run for over 51 years. Almost everywhere there is Democrat local governments, blacks are in worse condition than a city run by Republicans just a few miles away. Just to make a point, West Virginia is mostly white, but mostly Democrat and they have the worst numbers for education, income, crime, and other categories we use to measure with. Well, they had a Senator for 51 years named Robert Byrd, a past “Exalted Cyclops” of the KKK so as you can see Democrat policies don’t work for whites either.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of the evil that Democrats did to blacks in America for over 150 years. Today I look at the dialog on TV and it seems like I’m in some sort of Twilight Zone episode where blacks have forgotten the past. Some blacks are starting to look at Republican policies and changing their behaviors, but it is not enough. When asked most can’t explain anything Democrats have done for them, but just say “I can’t vote Republican”. As a conservative, I am just puzzled how blacks continually vote for less money, no job, more crime, more death, and just more misery. I thought with Trump for 4 years and the numbers all reversing for blacks, he would get some loyalty, but it wasn’t nearly enough. People have said that if blacks would switch from about 9% Republican vote, to around 25% Republican vote, Democrats would never win another election. Democrats see the writing on the wall and are wooing illegal aliens now. The only thing I can think of is younger blacks are not taught their own history, but older blacks vote Democrat also. The meme today is some sort of propaganda spew from communists to keep blacks riled up at the wrong people. You know something is wrong when BLM wants to tear down a statue of Abraham Lincoln. It must be some sort of mass hypnosis or demonic activity.

A dark day in our history was when FDR put Japanese American citizens in concentration camps. I’m hearing now that Biden wants to be the next FDR. For me that strikes terror as I was taught what FDR actually did. Communists were littered all through his administration; Alger Hiss is probably the most memorable, along with Julius Rosenberg and Harry Hopkins. Read “The Venona Papers” for more info. Democrats have always been racists and socialists and are still today. Recently Democrats have been making allusions about President Trump accusing him of being a NAZI. Again, people today don’t seem to have been taught history. NAZI translated to English means “National Socialist People’s Party”. It is a Socialist organization, but people seem to associate it with conservatism. “Volkswagen” is translated as “The People’s Car”. Mussolini and Hitler were both Fascists, but a closer look at their politics shows they were both left wing Socialists with strong government controls. Hitler and Stalin were friendly at the first of WWII until Hitler attacked the Eastern Front. Democrats have always been on the wrong side of history. The New York Times supported the Nazi’s at the first of the war. They marveled haw Mussolini made the trains run on time. They loved JFK while he was sleeping with a Nazi woman.

Today we have Sen Feinstein close to a Chinese spy for over 25 years and Rep. Swallwell sleeping with a Chinese spy while on the Intelligence Committee. Democrats are comfortable with leftist’s policies to tear down America.

All I can say is blacks need to wake up and see who is manipulating them. White Leftists read Saul Alinsky and The Cloward–Piven strategy to plan the overthrow of America and bring people into slavery to the government. Things are quickly going downhill and blacks and liberal whites need to be on the right side of history or America as we know it will die. Bloodshed will be inevitable at that point. IMO, most blacks seem to be conservative socially, but have fallen for some sort of Democrat meme that tells them they are unable to vote for anyone that is not a Democrat. They will spend another 100 years in poverty and misery if they don’t open their eyes.

History website seems to agree with him

This site seems to support your contention

So, since you dispute this post, and I assume the History website, which I don't hold as being the authority, what is the date you believe the KKK started?

If we are going to argue about the exact date it was started, I guess you will contend as the Democrats do that the Republican Party started it? You are missing the point of all that was said.

It's like being graded by the spelling Nazi's all the time here.

“The Ku Klux Klan was founded on Christmas Eve 1865 by Confederate soldiers dedicated to undermining the racial progress . . .”

The Klan was purpose-built as a fraternal organization after the war for ex-Confederate soldiers. It has nothing to do with the nonexistent Confederacy or Confederate soldiers in the Confederate Army.

The author later got around to that here: “In Pulaski, Tennessee, a group of Confederate veterans convenes to form a secret society that they christen the “Ku Klux Klan.” The KKK rapidly grew from a secret social fraternity to . . .” To something else.

It is a small point, but why not get it right?

Thank you, but I’m also familiar with the various websites on Klan (and Civil War) history and even they don’t necessarily state the year as 1865...such as..... 1866 The Ku Klux Klan is founded: (https://www.thoughtco.com/the-ku-klux-klan-history-721444).

Now that you have educated me, I have no other reason to converse with you so have a good night. :-)

I go it right enough if you check the History channel. The point of the piece was they were DEMOCRATS! Democrats don't know that they are the KKK. Democrats don't know that they were Jim Crow. Democrats don't know they were Separate but equal. They have no idea that they have been racist and corrupt for 150 years.

How does Biden and company get away with saying Republicans are racist Jim Crow. It's because Conservatives are busy arguing whether the KKK started on Christmas or not. They call us NAZI's because they don't know that NAZI's are socialists. The same party that calls Republicans racist KKK'ers goes uncorrected because we are to stupid to tell them their own history.

“It’s because Conservatives are busy arguing whether the KKK started on Christmas or not.”

I have not challenged anyone on the date of birth.

I pointed out that the Klan was originally formed as a fraternal organization and not a violent political organization. Some have said - not you - that General Forrest founded the Klan. Best evidence is that he did not.

These are small points but why not get them right - especially when the purpose of the mission is to get the facts out.
