Several years ago I had a “chiropractic stroke” after the quack yanked my neck when he knew he was not supposed to.
About 15 minutes later, I was sitting in the car waiting for himself to come out of AutoZone when I felt “odd”.
I pulled the visor mirror down and the right side of my face looked like a Dali painting and the right side omy body was malfunctioning.
He rushed me to the ER where I sat and waited *seven hours* before I was seen by anyone because the ER was full of illegals and welfare people, who, I was told later, had “priority” because of the ACLU.
If they’d taken my pale ass in before all of them were seen to, the hospital would have been sued.
I did not get that “magic shot” but they did give me a too-late MRI which cost a fortune and a $100 “co-pay” charge because I was not admitted.
By the time they bothered, my face looked fairly normal again and I felt mostly okay.
An elderly woman sitting behind me kept sliding over sideways in her chair and by then, I was focused on badgering them to see HER.
Eventually she went all the way over and I think she died.
I still have “neurological deficits” from that episode but can’t do anything about them because by the time the MRI was done, the “evidence” was gone.
Meritus hospital/Hagerstown MD.
Avoid that place at all costs.
My dad found out he’d had a mini-stroke sometime in the past during an eye exam for new glasses.
His mother had many mini-strokes and “small heart attacks” [13/14] only found during a routine office visit for something else.
It’s kinda crazy.
Prayers for your husband’s full recovery!
Surely you don’t call your husband himself, lol. I hope he reads what you’ve written, pale ass girl, lol. It doesn’t seem to have affected your wit. :)
Normally, I capitalize it, though.
Himself doesn’t read FR unless I send him a thread he’d like.
I have to keep laughing or I might start screaming.
:D
There is a nurtitional supplement called ‘rutin’, similar to quercetin that has beneficial effects on veins, and has been recommended for stroke sufferers. I sent you an frmail.
yes thats what is weird they are “moderate” in nature yet we are all on top of it just did not call 911 the first time but I did have him in front of a cardio dr in 3 hours right next to a hospital building.
Right now I’m not sure if we are getting the best doctors but do not know yet how to find out.
Thats impressive.
interesting. My husband has not been identified as diabetic but I assume they ran a lab on it. He was asked about it.
It was my husband’s left eye also but dr said had that clot landed just a bit further it could have blinded him.
So far I think the Greek eye dr has been the most on top of my husbands case. He sent all his notes to the cardiologist and wanted them sent to the neurologist also.
That’s disturbing.
