Those racist Democrat voters just eliminated another protected minority candidate. – A year ago today, the conventional wisdom among the D.C./New York City pundit class held that the Democrat 2020 presidential nomination would most likely end up being won by one of Kamala Harris, Irish Bob O’Rourke or Cory Booker. As of today, all three formerly leading candidates are out of the race with the exit Monday morning that Booker is done.
Yeah, the Senator from New Jersey only officially announced he was “suspending” his campaign, but c’mon, we all know he’s done, and so does he. And thus, those racist Democrat voters eliminate another protected minority candidate in their zeal to ensure the nomination goes to either an elderly, pasty-white male, or a female fake Indian.
The past 45 days or so have seen the elimination of the field’s fake Hispanic – Irish Bob, aka, Beto – its only actual Hispanic – Julian Castro – and both of its African American candidates – Harris and Booker. Their exits leaves Andrew Yang and Tulsi Gabbard, both of whom have a hard time breaking 3% in national polling, as the only remaining ethnic minority candidates. Let’s face it: Neither Asians nor Hawaiians are exactly seen a sympathetic figures among the Democrat Party’s identity-politics-prone voter base.
Here’s reality: There are four candidates in this race who have any real shot at ultimately becoming the nominee:
All four are as white as the driven snow. All four are at least 70 years of age. Three are 77 years old or older. The youngest among them is a woman who lied about being an American Indian throughout her adult life in order to land plumb jobs, licenses and certifications. That’s it. None of the other candidates have any chance whatsoever.
If this attrition of minority candidates, some of whom were media favorites to actually come away with the nomination, were taking place in a Republican nominating campaign, the corrupt news media would pound away at the “racism,” “sexism,” and any other “-isms” they could think of, 24 hours a day, 7 days every week. But because this the Democrat Party’s nominating race, all we get is cover pieces for Quid Pro Joe and his looting of Ukraine, analysis pieces that attempt to disguise Bernie Sanders’ communist background, misdirection pieces that attempt to cover for the lifetime of fraud by Faucahontas, and tortured camera angles attempting to make Mike Bloomberg look taller than he actually is.
So tiresome and corrupt.

That’s right: Ghislain Maxwell, the alleged procurer of under-age girls for pedophile Jeffrey Epstein (who most certainly did not kill himself). Why does this not surprise us? Not even a little bit?

There is still the chance that Hillary or Michelle will try to swoop in to “save” the country from “orange man bad”.

Joe McCarthy said that the reason Pelosi held onto the Articles of Impeachment is to tie Sander’s up in the Senate trial, thus impacting the nomination in favor of Biden.
They had to get rid of the SuperDelegates they used last time to take Bernie down. Bernie is leading in Iowa. They are trying to block his momentum.

Good theory. Another case of making the best of a bad situation (for them).
I don’t grasp why Warren thinks she has a chance against Trump.
She’s still young enough to continue her career past 2020/2024. Losing to Trump in an Electoral landslide would destroy her.
Bernie at least has no viable aspirations past November. Being the nominee would be the high point of his career, making him the perfect fall guy in an unwindable race.

Hillary already wasted >$1B of other people’s money. They’re not going to give her another $billion to waste again.
Michelle will ... won’t. Zero political experience to speak of. If Hillary couldn’t get it, and Warren is crashing, no reason to think she’d do better.
Democrats have to find a fall guy, someone who will wage a laudable campaign and be disposable at the end of it.
Biden, who follows in the footsteps of Bob Dole.
Biden couldn’t begin to campaign against Trump. No message, no enthusiasm. Can’t keep from groping women. Can’t remember what he’s doing nor relevant obvious facts.
Bernie is still enthusiastic, has an Overton-window-shifting message, doesn’t seem to offend (nay, he attracts) women, still has mental faculties intact. There’s just no hope of him keeping any of it up come 2021 or so.
The thing about Mooch is if she ran a laser like focus on her would happen. She or someone would have to address the tranny issue. It might be like the birther issue for her but a lot closer and direct than that one would have been for 0. If she is a genuine female it would be pretty distasteful having to wade into those waters. If she was a true tranny then uh....she could accuse America of being transphobic but uh ....uncharted territory again. Not sure she’d want any of that. Unless she wants to vacay again on the public dime I doubt she has any great urge to run. She has enough money now to vacay for the rest of her life.

You’re missing my point.
Bernie’s goal isn’t to win.
Bernie’s goal is to run.
That’s it.
The biggest stage Bernie will ever have is the nomination and subsequent race.
Losing is acceptable to Bernie - and nobody else.
He can physically hold up just long enough to survive the race.
He’s mentally acute enough to deliver his message passionately.
And come the election, he’ll be relieved to have it over with.
Run against Trump for a year, or ... enjoy luxury retirement.
Mooch will opt for the latter. The former has no upside for her.
