If this is accurate, clearly there are a lot of people who need to seriously step up their game on their ammo stash. That’s only about 20 rounds per weapon.

8.1 Billion rounds? We’re low on ammo!
That is not what the report says. The report says: "An estimated 8.7 billion rounds, of all calibers and gauges, were produced in 2018 for the U.S. market."
Think about it, if let's say 150 million firearm owners collectively owned 8.1 billion rounds, that would only be 54 rounds per owner.

People with two brain cells know that no one who wants you disarmed ever has benign intentions.
So when you call to take away their weapons they start to stock up.
You would think this would be obvious.
Like a home improvement, car restoration project etc, multiply by 2.5 like you do for true time or cost. 423 x 2.5 & add the zeros, ya that’s probably about right.....
