Schiff’s gavel that silences Republicans is Paul Ryan’s

As the Schiff show trial continues in the Swamp, this paraphrase of Ernest Hemingway will apply. Ask not for whom the gavel falls; it falls for Paul Ryan.

Each of Adam Schiff’s gavel strikes, that silences Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee’s Inquiry into an Impeachment of President Trump, drives home the failure of the former Republican Speaker of the House to support Trump.

Paul Ryan helped put that gavel into Schiff’s hand.

But the good news is that Paul Ryan is gone from the scene, and will never be a factor in Republican politics again. He’a like Jeb! in that way. As more Paul Ryans go away, the benefit to America will become more apparent. Making Paul Ryan go away might be inconvenient, but once you wipe and flush you can just let the plumbing take over.

That, and a fair amount of vote fraud.

Lying and banging that hammer is all Schifft for Brains does. The hammer banging is a subconscious way of dealing with the deficiencies Ed Buck probably ridiculed him about.

Ryan and Romney have destroyed the ELECTED PRESIDENTS
first three years.

They should be run out of America ... but THEY hide
behind the fences, fences they would not allow for America.

Can you imagine that they could have been P + VP?

Obama gave us Trump. Who would have succeeded them?

Wait, all the Republicans who lost were in moderate districts. They lost because moderates don’t like Trump.

Bush League Republicans are ALL Democrats in R jerseys.

Anyone who supports amnesty and a permanent Democrat majority is an enemy of the citizens and the rule of law.

Flimsey Grahamnesty is their poster boy.

I NEVER could stand that slimy character. He always reminds me of a silent movie character with those eyes that look like they have dark eyeliner and his black hair. Weird.

Ryan is on the Board of FNC. The first thing he said when he took the post a few weeks ago was “we’re going to do something about Trump”.

“Globalist Koch Bros pawn Paul Ryan set up the 2018 Dem victory and Mueller coup to stop Trump.”

The Republicans have demonstrated themselves incapable of leading the House of Representatives for a generation.

Bob Michel was the minority leader (GOP) from the 97-103 Congress. He never served in the House with a GOP majority. The consumate moderate, he avoided confrontation with Democrats.

Newt Gingrich succeeded Michel achieving a GOP majority in 1994. He served as speaker from 1995 to 1999. He had a confrontational style and led the impeachment of President Clinton as well as provoking several government shutdowns. He resigned, under pressure from other GOP House members, after the GOP lost 64 House seats in the 1998 election

Dennis Hastert. A proteget of Bob Michel, he succeeded Gingrich in 1999. He promised a return to the collaborative Michel style of leadership pledging a spirit of bipartisanship. He was the king of “earmarks”, pork barrel spending. Under his leadership the federal budget quickly went from balanced unprecedented deficits. In 2006-2007 Hastert’s involvement in an insider land deal became public in Hastert made $1.8 million profit on sale of land he held for 2 years. The value increased due to highway legislation he actively pushed through Congress. Hastert resigned in 2007 after the Republicans lost the majority in the 2006 elections. In 2015 Hastert was charged with illegally structuring withdrawals from bank accounts to avoid federal reporting requirements. It was revealed the payments were to a student he had molested when he was teaching school prior to entering Congress. Additional child molesting charges came up, but the statute of limitations had expired so Hastert could not be tried.

John Boehner. Followed Hastert as Republican leader in the House and served as
Speaker from 2011 to 2015. As speaker he clashed frequently with GOP conservatives and was viewed as a “country club” Republican by many members. In September 2015 he stepped aside as Speaker and resigned from Congress due to the dissension inside Republican ranks. He was replaced by Paul Ryan.

Republican speakers over the past 30 years, with the exception of Gingrich, refuse to drive a conservative agenda. Leadership to them has been about getting along. Meanwhile Democrat leaders forcefully drive the leftest agenda whether in the minority or the majority.

I’ve often wondered how Bill Bennett - Ryan’s mentor and now a full-on Trump supporter - feels about this guy.
