CNN Host Ends Trump Impeachment Panel After Republican Floats Debunked Biden, Clinton Conspiracies
Newsweek ^ | November 2, 2019 | Benjamin Fearnow

CNN host Victor Blackwell abruptly ended a Saturday panel about Republicans' impeachment strategy plans after a guest insisted on "debunked conspiracies" about Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton.

The discussion aimed at identifying the Republican Party's strategies for countering the House impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump derailed when former GOP South Carolina Lieutenant Governor André Bauer continued to berate the panel with accusations against Joe and Hunter Biden.

Blackwell asked Bauer and CNN political commentator Tara Setmayer to respond to Trump acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney and several senators' admitting a Ukraine quid pro quo took place. But the adamantly pro-Trump Bauer repeatedly said the Bidens should be investigated instead of the president.

The panel ultimately concluded with a frustrated Blackwell declaring, "We're done with this conversation."

Add “deflect,” “obviously guilt,” “politically motivated” and “mudslinging” and you’ll be able to write your own CNN stories about the President’s defense during the impeachment trial! Try it, it’s fun!

Except they haven’t been debunked. The msm has lied and said they’ve been debunked.... doesn’t make it do. Ukraine has reopened Burisma corruption investigation. Clinton is still a hot mess

“You loyal ATT subscribers should be complaining.”

We would LOVE to get rid of AT&T in our home. We’ve held on to our AT&T landline (actual landline that plugs into the wall; not a computer) because we’ve relied on it during power failures when cell charging was an issue. Computer VOIP batteries last a relatively short time, so

Last power failure, the landline was kaput. Maybe it was a coincidence, and maybe AT&T has incorporated electric power somewhere into their landline protocol. If so, we’re done with them.

Aye! And anyone who says they haven't been debunked is obviously a conspiracy theorist! As is anyone who doubts the MSM. As is anyone who thinks anyone close to Hillary has ever been murdered. As is anyone who sees anything ummm, irregular about Biden's and Pelosi's kids' dealings with Burisma. As is anyone who asks about Rosatom's deal with Hillary to buy 20% of US uranium and the $500,000 paid to her husband for a 15 min speech. As is...

Well, you get the idea...

You could always ask them if they are now dependent on grid power.

“You could always ask them if they are now dependent on grid power.”

Yes; that’s on my “to do” list for this week. Would love to have that $50/month instead of giving it to them.

It should be illegal for telecom to own and control the news. Comcast does that exactly that. Verizon isn’t in the business... yet.

I understand the limited availability of telecom providers. And it’s not realistic to dump AT&T if there are no reasonable alternatives.

Telecom’s ownership of the news should be an antitrust issue. No one should be forced to pay for the hatred that Comcast and AT&T force upon the subscribers.

True. In this case there is a “reasonable alternative”, i.e., cellular only. (I figure Verizon is as f**ked up as AT&T, too. It’s a hard game to play, isn’t it?)

I understand that. This is why laws are against having monopolies, although we know they exist in some areas due to no viable competition.

Just glad I had the options to choose otherwise I’d be stuck with the bastard child of “Ma Bell”
