The only article of impeachment the rats have is “Orange man bad.” That won’t fly as a reason for impeachment.
I’ve also noticed that the nazis in the propaganda press are increasing private security. They’re very afraid, which is good. There’s a growing animosity and dislike toward the coup leaders in the propaganda press by the average reporters. This is apparent in the Veritas CNN tapes. Watch for more exposure of crazy media nazis as the press itself engages in an internecine civil war.

Well, then, there will be war.
In theory, the House can impeach for whatever reason(s) they choose. Likewise, the Senate can convict along the same lines of thought. However, the real question becomes one of motivation: Why would Congress do that, especially to a popular and effective president free of any crimes and/or misdemeanors?
The founders designed a system of governance that presumed that honorable people would serve in the public interest. But what if the system has become so entirely corrupt that the traditional separations/rivalries between branches/factions unite in order to defend their preserve?
Isn't that what we are really talking about here? Now, if that's the case, what has actually happened? That's right, the country has been overtaken by a domestic enemy force intent on overturning the will of the people in a free election.
Well, what happens next? Why would Trump meekly acquiesce if he's convinced - and has the evidence - of massive election interference, deep state treason, and large scale public corruption? Didn't he take his own oath of office to defend the constitution?
That's why I think your analysis would be better served to trace out the next possible steps. If Trump signals a willingness to press the issue to a final resolution, would the Senate dare commit to crossing the Rubicon?
No, I'm replying to a possibility that there may be 20 Republican Senators that might vote for impeachment. If any one is implying there are reasons for impeachment then it would be the author of this thread.

Your post comes closest to my thinking about Travis McGee’s scenario.
One has to wonder about the republic’s chance of survival with items like door to door confiscation being discussed on one hand and impeaching someone who is as without blemish as a politician could be expected to be on the other.
What would keep us at home in a matter like this?
Scot Adams says that it would happen this way because we do not see it coming — coup by hypnosis — but I do not think that summary applies on this forum.
