Schumer to Trump: “Don’t Say I Didn’t Warn You” [semi-satire]
Semi-News/Semi-Satire ^ | 6 Oct 2019 | John Semmens

Posted on 10/09/2019 10:22:38 AM PDT by John Semmens

The emergence of the latest CIA scheme to oust President Trump entailing the manipulation of “whistleblower” rules to allow “hearsay” allegations prompted Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) to remind Trump “I told you that these guys have six-ways from Sunday at getting back at you.”

“In a way, Trump is actually getting off easy,” Schumer contended. “When President Kennedy threatened to tear the CIA into a 1,000 pieces he ended up being murdered. If a president as beloved as JFK was could be killed, a vile creature like Trump should thank his luck that he is still alive. I don’t know how long he thinks his luck will hold, but everyday he is tempting fate. The prudent course would be for him to resign before something unfortunate happens to him.”

As a more merciful alternative, Rep. Maxine Waters called for Trump “to be imprisoned and placed in solitary confinement. His opposition to the efforts of the intelligence community to neutralize the mistaken election of this miscreant make him a clear and present danger to our democracy. We must not allow him to assert constitutional provisions guarding the rights of the accused to delay removing him from power. We must take corrective action before it is too late.”

Former Attorney General Eric Holder extended a general warning to current Attorney General William Barr urging him “to abandon his investigation into allegations of corruption involving the Obama Administration. All he’ll accomplish is to destroy his own reputation and foreclose any future he may have once things return to normal.”

It is the CIA’s job to protect America.
It is NOT its job to spy on Americans.
If they think this is their job, its time to eliminate the CIA

Schumer has been unusually quiet of late. I wonder whether he has an Epstein or Ukraine problem or perhaps he knows that indictments are in the works and he doesn’t want to stick his foot in his big mouth defending the deep state while mugging for the TV cameras.

“It is the CIA’s job to protect America.”

Unfortunately the CIA has NEVER believed that protecting America was their intended purpose. For a chilling account of what the CIA is really about read “The Devil’s Chessboard” by David Talbot.

Excellent as always, however,

I seriously doubt that ‘”peach foty-fi”’ could actually cogitate “We must not allow him to assert constitutional provisions guarding the rights of the accused ...”, much less intelligibly state it.

“If they think this is their job, its time to eliminate the CIA”

The best moment of the CIA was during the Cold War when they knew the Soviets were trying to steal our (natural gas) pipeline control software. So the CIA developed some ‘alternate code’ for the Soviets and with it came the largest non-nuclear explosion in recorded history (in Siberia). And the Soviets learned a lesson - don’t steal code from the US, you can never trust it.

But, at this point, if the elimination of the FBI, NSA, and CIA results in the US having to deal with an extra terrorist attack or two every year, SO BE IT, it’s a relatively small price to pay when compared to losing our ability to have fair elections. And it does seem to be the only choice - if we have those 3-letter agencies, they WILL interfere in elections, and have the Democrats and media FULLY SUPPORTING them. So, sadly, they must go.

Don’t be too hard on yourself. You are not a dope just mis-informed. Not a lot of folks understand how the CIA operates. Unfortunately Gina Haspel is part of the Deep State. President received very bad advice when he was urged to appoint her.

Schumer warned us. “Intelligence agencies “have six ways from Sunday of getting back at you.”

Was that satire or a news report???

Sadly there is a grain of truth in what Schmucky says.

Such a disappointment. So many snakes. I don’t know how PT does it.

Thx

It’s a bit of both: news and satire. Schumer is on record warning Trump that the intelligence community has many ways to get back at those who criticize it. I just fleshed out his implied meaning.

Thx

Waters has people who hand her lines. There is no requirement that she actually understand what she is saying.
