BOSTON — Felicity Huffman is hoping to avoid serving hard time.

Lawyers for Huffman, who reports to prison on Oct. 25, requested Friday that the actress spend her two weeks behind bars at a minimum-security women’s lockup in northern California dubbed one of the cushiest prisons in the country.

The Federal Correctional Institution Dublin houses 1,235 inmates and sits about 350 miles away from her Los Angeles home.

While it’s ultimately the decision of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, attorney Martin Murphy asked Judge Indira Talwani make the recommendation so the desperate inmate could see her family.

“It’s the closest to Ms. Huffman’s residence,” Murphy said inside the packed courtroom.

Me too. If I ever have to go to prison I want the softest berth I can land in.

I have been to Dublin, CA a time or two. I have heard it is pretty cushy too. 👍

The desperate inmate!! :)

I’ve known guys that spent months and MONTHS at Rikers and that was BEFORE trial.

Anything under 3 months was a vacation from the girlfriend or wife.

Geez, I can think of a dozen different things you can do to spend those two weeks in the psych wing.

That be California Institute for men. Not cushy, but it's a state joint. The state joint that IS cushy, is California Men's Colony, at San Luis Obispo. It is called by another name, but I could only tell you in Freep mail. 😄

Chino was a work camp (dairy) for trustee prisoners when I lived there, now I hear it’s a regular prison.

The Feds built a bunch of new maximum security United States Penitentiaries callee USP in their nomenclature

Places like Coleman Florida and Allenwood Pennsylvania and so forth..

Two or three new ones in Kentucky alone

Hi tech easy to isolate and cams everywhere

The old school hardcore gladiator schools like Terre Haute, Lompoc, Leavenworth, Atlanta, Lewisburg are now lesser risk inmates

Those places used to house prisoners where over half had bodies on their jackets...their background folder

I think Marion is still pretty serious......where Silverstein made his bones or more bones to be precise

Anyhow it’s a new Federal prison world insofar as dangerous prisoners

Modernized joints.

That’s where gladiator school is these days Fed wise

Minimum security camps are soft and full of snitches and bitches

She’s not locked up yet? They’ve been talking about it all summer long.

It is. The dairy farm has been at DVI at Tracy, near Stockton, at least since the 80s when I was there. By the way, the other cushy State joint, is CMF at Vacaville. Camp Snoopy, it was sometimes called. 😁👍

Doesn’t matter where she’s sent. She’ll still say Trump made her drink from the toilet.

When you plan a vacation, you get to choose the hotel you stay at.

Why should prison be any different?

Send her to Tehachapi, like Bogey did to what’s her name in the one about the Black Bird.

Boy, I’m losing it. :)

The Feds are slow. I remember a local guy pulling some shenanigans while working at a local gun shop. I heard he was convicted and got a few years. About a month later, I ran into him in a store. He said he had to report in a couple of weeks.

SEND HER TO SUPERMAX!

And if she so much as puts one toe out of line add another two years to her sentence.

I hope she still has to bend over and crack a smile (required full body cavity search upon entering). Knowing she had to do this and her knowing we know is good enough for me.
