France With Guns
The Houston Courant ^ | December 7, 2018 | M. da Silva

Posted on 09/16/2019 3:34:29 AM PDT by The Houston Courant

French unrest continues despite President Macron’s intention to delay the gas tax, the subject of the protests. To compliment the scenes of first responders joining the protesters, are videos of hidden snipers and one yellow vest possibly being shot in the street.

Looking at the turmoil, I can not help but think how something very similar could have happened here, had Hillary the Traitor won. Even now with President Trump in office, such a turn of events is not unthinkable. Daily we Americans still bear the humiliating taunts of a two-tiered justice system. We are reminded a different set of standards and laws is in play depending on how you voted.

We can be subjected to violence, denied public platforms for expression, fired from our jobs, and driven from our families under color of law. The publicly permissible opinions are not ours. The normally tolerable people are not us.

Why don't you get a job?

That’ll be a lopsided and probably short civil war. We have the vast majority of guns, policemen, military, veterans, hunters, anglers, farmers & ranchers, shooting sports enthusiasts, engineers of every kind, skilled trades, gun shop owners and employees, construction personnel, mechanics, pilots, boaters, reloaders, truckers, bikers, archers, woodsman, energy personnel, cooks, and adequate medical staff.

We have........Jobs, mortgages, car payments, kids in high school, kids in college, football practice during the week and soccer games on weekends.

Sorry, but there won't be a civil war...

You go ahead and take care of the soccer games. I’ll be making sure my kids and grandkids have essential liberties.

The soldiers on both sides in 1860 had jobs, kids in school, games, fields to plow, babies and womenfolk. It didn’t stop a civil war. Have we changed so much?

It won’t be like what most people consider “War” so to speak. The future that unfolds does so from what IS. What is is not sustainable which is pretty funny because the retards who consider themselves to be all about “sustainability” don’t seem to get it. And I’m not talking about things like petroleum of the “climate”. In ten years 25% of women less than 40 will be single, childless, and almost infertile. Cat ladies. Right now some quarter of men below 30 have no children and no prospects. If we end up allowing the illegals that are here to stay we will have replaced about 10 to 20% of the American people with uneducated foreigners not at some distant date but right now. Trump may be able to finally crank the spigot shut but what to do with the 30 million that are here?

That is the situation on just the demographics piece. Pick any other issue and be honest. What makes it so frustrating is we are the ones with the numbers, the guns, the counties, etc. but all our advantages are nullified by their control of the media, education, and government. At some point the damn is just gonna break.

While this article is a bit dire - and I don't believe that organized violence is imminent (and I believe that all of the systems of government and their allies in the information business are assiduously watching every communication node and phrase for any sign of organization) -the author has a point about the descending insanity of the Left driving all of us normals to more drastic action.

President Trump's election was the first real shot across their bow: we recognize the evils of the leftists and the idiot/self-destructive directions they are pushing us and we have finally begun to stand against this.

We may not fall out into organized and trained battalions quite yet (from what I have seen at the range, we're a LONG ways from that)- but all of us have to do what we can to arrest the ridiculous culture shifts ("transgenders" having access to our children or wearing uniforms, forced agendas taught to our children, silencing conservatives through site blocking, wide open borders, attempts to disarm us, etc.)

We must also hold President Trump's and our Senator's and Congress' feet to the fire as well to stop all of these corruptions and to administer justice fairly to ALL.

If that doesn't happen, the author's predictions may actually be our future.

Good one.

I saw where a newly graduated cop was fired for a couple “questionable” posts he supposedly mad in like 2003 or something.

He was what—a child at the time?

The Left’s boundaries never stop.

Unlike the Left, the Right never marches, protests, or burns anything down.

Right?

What's your problem?

This is the forum for bloggers.

There are no forum rules requiring anyone to post their full blog.

Perhaps you're the one who needs to get a job instead of pretending to be FR's blogger police.

That’s a good point, but the poorest people weren’t the most likely to be obese in 1860. The poor of 1860 were generally used to hard labor outdoors in all weather. Our poorest generally are used to climate controlled environments and unused to hard labor. Our poorest are also the most passively entertained poor people ever. It’s hard for me to imagine some sort of sustained unrest while these conditions persist, but who knows.

I think maybe a tangible warning sign will be if eligible voter turnout has an unprecedented huge bump of 15-20% or something in 2020. You would figure more would simply deign to try voting before they take to the streets.

What's your problem?

I thought it was pretty clear. Are you slow?

This is the forum for bloggers.

Bloggers maybe. This guy is just here for the traffic and has never made a single comment.

There are no forum rules requiring anyone to post their full blog.

There are no rules about wearing your pants down around your knees but decent people don't do it.

Perhaps you're the one who needs to get a job instead of pretending to be FR's blogger police.

Oh, my. Aren't you the sassy one?

Nope.

You're the one with the problem.

Seems about the only comments you add to the conversation are those complaining about people posting their blog.

>>Perhaps you're the one who needs to get a job instead of pretending to be FR's blogger police.<<

Oh, my. Aren't you the sassy one?

No, that'd be you with your overinflated sense of importance.

You must live a very lonely life.

Not that is matters, but I’m with humble on this one. The account in question joined a few weeks ago and only posts from this blog and then runs. There’s no commenting or interacting. It’s simply to get clicks, and I think that goes against the spirit of the blog section of FR. But it ain’t my forum so it ain’t my call.

I really don’t care as I don’t have a dog in the fight. I just notice the other poster does this on just about every blog someone posts on FR.

My question is this: how many of those with guns will be capable, mentally, of using them against other people?
Hunting animals is entirely different than hunting people.
