Starbucks Needs to Close All Stores for an Afternoon of Training on Respecting Police Officers!
Freedom's Lighthouse ^ | July 6, 2019 | Brian

A Tempe, Arizona Starbucks is in the news for asking a group of five Police Officers on the 4th of July to “move out of the sight of a customer” or “leave” because – it made that customer feel unsafe to see them.

No, really – this happened. Starbucks Corporate Office is “still gathering information” on the incident. Well, Starbucks needs to apologize to these Officers and make amends for what happened. Maybe they need to close their stores for an afternoon and train all employees how to respect Police Officers! Yes, that’s what they need to do. . . .

Gee...

Maybe a public proclamation by the police departments across the country to the effect of: “We Will No Longer Provide ANY protection, answer ANY calls, nor respond to ANY requests for Assistance from any Starbucks Location” would be appropriate.

Let them fend for themselves in the jungle.

That would be simpler for them! No doubt!

I’d personally love to see a Peet’s or a Dunkin’s in the Tempe area offer these officers free coffee for life, in uniform or not. Maybe even do an ad featuring the “Fearsome Fivesome”.

I love that idea. I also would love to see some police officers listening to Clark Howard or Dave Ramsey so they would stop spending money at Starbucks and wasting money. There’s better and cheaper coffee elsewhere.

“There’s better and cheaper coffee elsewhere.”

Ain’t it that the truth. I prefer the coffee at my local Speedway gas station. Twice as tasty and a fraction of the price.

For an afternoon?! How about a week so they can be taught US civics, respect, and so forth.

Starbucks? I went to one once, and found the help moronic and the coffee sub-standard. I don’t give a flying creamer what they do or what happens to them.

I think they need to offer free coffee and snacks forever to all police officers.

And special gifts of Starbucks coffee beans to the particular officers who were mistreated, along with sincere apologies.

Not the first time that Starbucks has had to have a special training day to get their employees up to speed with something that is common sense to most people.

Can’t they hire people who aren’t stupid?

Let them fend for themselves in the jungle.

They could also issue travel advisories to the public State Dept. style.

"We're not safe there and neither are you!" :)

I seriously wish they would do something like that.

Push back is absolutely necessary on these lunatic leftards.

One of the Starbucks in Prescott Valley AZ occasionally hosts the monthly Coffee with a Cop so they do not need to close for a day.

It won’t be popular here but I disagree completely. Forcing a private company to do things out of “respect” is un American. It happens to conservatives all the time remember? Forcing gay cakes, etc. Let the market decide. If police officers choose not to go to Starbucks Coffee as a result of this then so be it. The market will speak.

Any info on the snowflake@ss who “didn’t feel safe”?

This person needs to be identified, shamed, doxxed etc.

The Starbucks in question is very near ASU.

No disrespect intended to the LEOs, but wouldn’t street-smart cops choose to have their caffeine in a place less infested with hipsters and other low-lifes?

As a conservative, I wouldn’t be caught dead in a Starbuck’s. Down here in southwest Florida, I’d sooner have my cup o’ Joe at McDonald’s, Dunkin’, or Krispy Kreme.
