For some weird reason I can't sign in to YouTube via my Chrome Browser. In fact I never have to sign in because it reads my information automatically. However, this time I was prompted to sign in but when I click to sign in, I get an error message.
How can I sign in. I can access my YouTube account via IE browser but I rarely use that. I need to sign in via chrome. I can't figure out why I am being blocked when I use Chrome.
I don’t use Chrome, but have you tried clearing your cache and/or cookies via Preferences?
I had that problem with gmail and google photos a while back. I kept getting a too many redirects message.
I think I had to delete all my google cookies or something to get it to work.
But if I clear my cookies won’t that keep me from automatically signing in?
Your cookies are us.
Once youve re-logged in all the cookies will be regenerated and you should autologon again.
Turn your computer on!
You’ll need to redo a password after that yes. But Chrome is evil it tracks everything you do and sells it to advertisers. Use another browser.
Youtube uses your Google account to login. Check you Google account information and passwords in Chrome settings.
Sometimes a reboot will do wonders
If you clear your cookies, you’ll have to sign in again, and may have to click on the option to remember your log-in info again. I use Apple and Safari, and sometimes Firefox. All I know is that most times if I have a problem accessing a sight, I clear the cookies for that site, and just sign in again afterwards. It might work for you, or it might not.
count yourself lucky
sight=site
A) Update chrome if there’s an update pending.
B) Close Chrome and re-open.
C) If you can reach gmail, make sure you’re on the same account as the one you use for youtube.
D) Go to Youtube.com - if the image under the chrome of your identity doesn’t match, you might have had something happen to cause your IP addresses to redirect. If that’s the case, hit the windows key, type cmd, and then type ‘ping youtube.com’ and post the string of numbers or letters and numbers it responds with. Mine responds with 2607:f8b0:4007:803::200e because I have IPv6 enabled. If yours responds with 208.65.153.(any three numbers), you likely don’t have IPv6 enabled and I gotta wonder why.
I would use Comodo Dragon or Chromium
re-boot yer ‘puter.
Only for your first sign in.......
They found out that you are a Trump supporter.
Yeah. I’m okay now. I deleted 4 weeks worth of browsing data and that did the trick. It was taking so long that I actually went to Old Navy for a sale and when I got back, it finished up. Then I went to YouTube and didn’t get the error message this time when I logged in. So thanx to all for your help!
