I’m curious to hear CNN’s explanation for why they falsely labeled Ralph Northam as a Republican

It was not an accident. It was deliberate and intentional. Obviously to tell the folks that it was a Republican who was in blackface, etc. They would never be able to say the truth, that he is a democrat.

Simply because when they see nasty stuff a politician does they automatically add (R) to the name, then later on the midnight news they apologize for the mistake and fire a non-paid intern.

" it’s still a fair question to ask how this happened in the first place."

It's easy for me to see how a public school educated young assistant producer could just assume Northam was a Republican. I'm sure he was taught that "all Republicans are racist, and all racists are Republican", so it wouldn't even be necessary to fact check.

Because they KNOW uninformed constituents across the nation are watching and will remember the racist and infanticide supporter was a Republican!

Where the hell is our Republican leaders? Why aren’t they calling CNN fake news?

Does POTUS have to to it all for you wusses? I am sick of the lot of you.

This guy’s career is cooked.
The ‘morally righteous left’ have been bashing the center\right for years, and to do otherwise now against one of their own would show them as complete hypocrites

I don’t think they even consider consistency or logic.

The left is now being ruled by an out of control mob of SJWs.

“Why are such images considered racist instead of historical?”

The same reason statues are racist instead of historical. (Whatever reason that is...)

It's not a historical image. It's a costume, likely from halloween. From a time when blackface wasn't yet considered something that would make everyone ran for the fainting couch. In my high school in New Jersey in the 1980s I remember a bunch of guys wearing blackface in a group costume of the black supremacist cult MOVE who were in a standoff with cops at the time in Philly. Nobody cared. It was a laugh, like other fellows who wore a dress. Silly looking, that's all that was ever intended.

The Klan costume is more disturbing though, there's not really a way to hand wave that off as other than racist, given what the Klan is all about.

Whatever, this guy wants to let babies be murdered in the delivery room and nobody said he was a monster. I am okay with them saying he is now for this.

cnn is an embarrassment to Truth, Civility, Integrity and so forth. What a bunch of anti-Truth degenerates. Anyone who watches their distortions themselves are mentally ill.

CNN said Republican because they know no Dem would ever do something like that or be creepy (Like Uncle Joe Biden, R-Delaware). 😋

It is a historical image of a halloween costume (most likely).

It is from over 30 years ago. That makes it history.

Taken before SJWs were allowed to veto what people wear, what they say, and what they think.

This is, essentially, a form of Orwellian thought control.

Routine propaganda. If he was a republican, it would be a 24/7 mediawhore feeding frenzy and this guy would be a household word by now.

Love Leftists eating each other. However, this was 35 years ago. He who has not done stupid shit in HS, the military, or college, cast the first stone.....

*********************

Good point, but I don’t think that really applies here.

1. He was something like age 25.

2. He was graduating from med school.

3. He choose that picture himself to publish on his page in his med school yearbook.

4. Even if it was at a Halloween party or some similar dress-up themed event, it was 1984. I was about that age then, and no one thought the KKK was funny then, either. I don’t ever remember anyone dressing up in that kind of garb in any party event. Let alone memorializing it in a picture to be published in something as important as a yearbook.

This is way beyond what the Fake News MSM was trying to make of Kavenaugh’s HIGH SCHOOL yearbook scribble of “boof”, when he was only 18 or so.

Because they can lie, all the time, and even if they get caught red handed, they report a retraction, weeks later, and never have any consequences. They then start again with the next lie.

It is that simple. How long can a society survive without integrity?

Same reason that they claimed not to have been tipped off to the Stone swat raid.

They are habitual liars that seek to mislead the public to the benefit of the Deep State.

Simple answer to that question is if CNN is reporting it, consider it fake news.

“He choose that picture himself to publish on his page in his med school yearbook.”

He really does need to be investigated by VA state medical board and I hope a VA freeper looks into this. His anti black bias may have resulted in a higher proportion of black babies and children receiving substandard care and adverse outcomes. Lawyers should take heed here as well. The statute of limitations goes up to age 21 for medical malpractice on children. If he has hospital privileges, he needs to lose them. This is worse than the Muslim resident at Cleveland clinic that said she would treat Jews poorly. This guy probably has done some harm to minority children that he deemed “non-viable”.

This guy potentially could go back and work at a hospital, insurance company or at an advisory board. He needs to be finished in medicine and politics. In this case, it really is for the children.

Those who control the past also control the future. If the Media declare a certain thing ‘Bad’ then any person having been accused of doing that “thing” in the past immeiately becomes a non-person and gets publically castigated & shunned.

I imagine there’s a blackface photo of Bill Clinton floating around somewhere.

With CNN it is a stenography error. All they do is take dictation anyway. Journalism doesn’t exist at CNN.
