Ralph Northam is the governor of Virginia.
He is a Democrat.
In 1984, in his yearbook from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Northam appeared in this photo, which shows one person in blackface, and another person in a Ku Klux Klan outfit. Northam hasn’t said which of the two is him, and no one else seems to be able to tell which of the two is him. But both of them are racist. (Image sourced from here.)
Even though Northam is a Democrat, CNN reported that he is a Republican.

For the record, CNN corrected the mislabeling a few seconds later, but it’s still a fair question to ask how this happened in the first place.

Screen shots showing Gov Northam as a Republican will be all over the internet forever. LIVoters ( low information applies to people who only watch CNN and only read NYT or WaPo) will never believe that he is a Democrat. He is a racist and a baby-killer. To Dems, being a baby-killer is ok but it must not have been polling well outside DC.

I’ve read 3 comments already on the NY Daily news Facebook site by people calling him a Republican. They fall hook, line and sinker for fake news. Can you imagine what would be going on right now if he really were Republican? First they’d be trying to tie him to Trump and then we would hear about the marches by Al Sharpton and then the riots by Antifa.
