If a judge tries to shut it down he needs to state they have exceeded their constitional authority. Acknowledge their ruling and continue building while it makes its way through the courts.
What must be done eventually, should be done immediately.

Some of us have been saying this is what he’s doing.
The dems have refused to do what it takes to pay the federal employees and now Trump has trumped them and is giving the federal employees the break that the dems wouldn’t.
So who’s going to look like the bad guy now.
This is all justification for declaring a national emergency.

I agree, some little Judge in some little town in the middle of nowhere will over rule this. I wonder what state this will happen? This is the only unknown in this depressing predictable farce.

If he had done that the first time it was pulled, it would be effective. If he does it now, it is impeachment time. And except perhaps for EEE, Trump’s base is disheartened.

The injunction will be obtained in a lower court that is overseen by Sotomeyer, Kagen, Brayer, Ginsburg or maybe even Roberts, any of them will decline to advance the case. We lose, Dems win. Trump should have just gone ahead and built the wall, but like Mitt, he choked.
I don’t think WE have the majority in SCOTUS Roberts is truly NOT on our side!!! Kennedy was more on our side than Roberts is!!!

I’m not running from Mr. Trump, but I can’t pretend that this is good. This is as a disaster. The govt will not shut down again, a lower court will grant an injunction if Trump tries to declare an emergency, Pelosi has the momentum, Trump looks weak and the base is disheartened. Mueller and the rest of the piranhas and the sharks sense blood in the water, and I think the jellyfish in the Senate would quickly convict after impeachment by the house is completed, get it out of the way, so that (they think) all will be forgotten by 2020. There GOP will herd us back into line, I suppose, because as they remind us, they are the lesser of two evils. And my family, who were far more ardently Trump than I ever was, will again refuse to speak to me because I won’t vote for Romney or Jeb.
