LOS ANGELES — On a recent visit to the federal prison in Victorville, Calif., U.S. Rep. Mark Takano was caught by surprise. Of the hundreds of immigrants detained there, he learned, possibly 40 percent had traveled from India seeking asylum....

Build the wall. It’s why I voted for Trump, and while I am very pleased about the other things he’s doing in office, I’m still waiting for the border wall. We have Republican majorities in both houses of Congress and a president who made the border wall the main plank of his campaign platform - if it is not built now, it never will be.

Yes, the Apaches were sadistic. But the Comanches were worse, and the Apaches were very, very fearful of the Comanches.

Most of the resumes I see for entry level software development positions these days are from Asian-origin students with degrees from American universities - Indians predominantly but also Chinese. I don't think anyone is stopping American kids from pursuing computer science and engineering, but the kids from Asian immigrant families are the ones doing it. I don't begrudge them that, but the Asians need to be in the US legally. The Mexican border has turned into the world's gateway to enter the US at will.
