At this point if the attorney general wants to oftenas this he needs to do some things to make up for the agencies “Bad Behavior”. Like pay legal fees connected with the case. Yes, “all” legal fees. Also if there is one more mistake everyone involved with this case including Sessions should resign without pension.

I have no idea if he's brief on a "daily" basis, however high profile cases that involve Constitutional law, he would be briefed enough. That is, unless he's like Eric Holder who actually skipped briefings.

Some times, I think we need a new Amendment that all top level Fedgov officials spend some time as middle or upper management in the civilian sector. That's why Pres. Trump is doing so well. Did Trump NOT get rid of all the US Attorneys when he took office and appoint new ones? If he didn’t, he should have. Clinton got rid of all of them without a murmur. GWB got rid of a half dozen and had everyone down his throat.
