The trouble is, I have no idea what’s going on because there’s nobody I can trust to believe. You certainly can’t trust our deep State intelligence community or state department. You can’t trust the Rooskies and there is no objective media. Everyone’s got an agenda and everything must be taken with a grain of salt. A big grain. You can call me cynical but the way I see it there are only two options, you’re can be cynical or naive. I chose cynical.
Say what? Putin called a meeting? I thought you said he was going to kick our ass seven times to hell and back.

What will happen is this. Assad will ask Putin to come in with significant forces to mop up. Then they will expel everyone else there who is fighting. Case closed.
