Not only does it appear he was assassinated, it appears his family have engaged in upholding a cover-up. My only speculation is that for the Rich family, the religion of liberal Democrat politics is more important to them than obtaining the facts and the truth about their son’s murder.
While I have been intrigued about Seth Rich’s murder, I have consistently been astonished by his family’s keen desire to clam up and protect the Dem establishment. How can they love the Party more than their own son. Big payout??

A #SecondSpecialCounsel to investigate the FBI, DOJ, etc., will inevitably be investigating Hillary and the DNC, since it’s all of a piece, and should be able to get to the bottom of the Seth Rich case too.
Fear and intimidation are much cheaper....................

Could be, certainly. But as a father myself I wouldn’t care one wit. I’d do all I could to create multiple dead-man type switches all over the place and then I’d start barking like a neighbor’s dog.
Hard to imagine the parents couldn’t start singing all over national network news shows and quickly gain a very high profile... but then again, Juanita Broderick was almost totally disissed.

It will eventually. When the rats start jumping they will be pointing their fingers at the Clintons. Just the threat of a new special prosecutor shoul start them jumping, when they realize that someone is actally serious. I thought that maybe Gowdy’s announcement means that the IG has told him that he can not investigate any further and that his report will state that. He is giving Gowdy a “heads up”.
I've paid peripheral attention to this case so my understanding may not be entirely accurate. From what I've gathered, SR was a diehard Bernie supporter working w/ the DNC. When he became aware that the DNC had stacked the primary against Hillary, he downloaded the evidence and passed it onto wikileaks. From what I've read, he had some kind of meeting scheduled with the FBI on the morning he was killed.
So...while he was an obvious leftist, with whom I'd no doubt disagree, and whose ideas I would certainly not, "exalt," at least it would appear he believed in fair play and taking a stand for what he felt was right. Did he initiate the meeting with the FBI? If so, was he planning on reporting HRC and DWS cheating the Bern, or did he stumble across the Awan bros. and try to report that to FBI CI? If the latter, he died a patriot.

Unsolved murder mystery is so ludicrous. Why isn’t the DOJ and FBI on this?....Oh,yeah,stupid question.
And it’s this that the FBI/DOJ is frantic to cover up.
We know all the rest, and they believe they can take the hit for everything, based on “appropriate concern for national security, based on limited but alarming information”.
They can’t take the hit for murdering, or allowing the murder of, this kid.
Understand that unless Rich’s father goes public with this, this story goes nowhere.
