Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
It’s Sunday, and somehow we’re all still here! Yes, friends, despite the “shutdown” of almost 14 whole percent of our national government for a full day, American society has inexplicably managed to survive, as 330 million citizens who Democrats don’t give a damn about and 800,000 DACA “kids” who average 26 years of age who Democrat pretend to care about soldiered on through their daily lives. It’s a miracle! God bless us, every one!
The pussy hat-wearing, profanity-shouting “Women’s” marchers were back at in on Saturday, and nobody still knows what exactly it is they’re all demonstrating about. When Fox News began its coverage of the protesters in Washington, panning the crowd at the National Mall, the first sign the camera came across said simply, “F*ck You!”, only without that asterisk. That was totally appropriate since that seems to be the only truly coherent message the protesters are conveying.
But those marchers or protesters or whatever they call themselves were a positive sign for the nation, since their presence at the Mall and in 20-odd other cities across the country meant that the interstate highway system was open and functioning, given that 90% of those people were bused into those cities and paid to be there in their pussy hats by George Soros. So hey, the radical left was still able to make its one and only contribution to commerce in the United States despite the government “shutdown.”
But maybe the real, true, deep message of the protests was properly conveyed by some rapper who calls himself “Common”. Mr. Common, rapping to the demonstrated held in swanky Park City, Utah, belted out the following to the adoring crowd:
“The day the women took over, let it continue. Now women get paid as much as men do, Dr. Angelou looking from heaven’s window. Telling young girls phenomenal woman is in you, Body is a temple. Men don’t pray. Mother Earth’s arms around you saying it’s OK, Toilet seat’s down, that’s a no-brainer. Monuments in Washington of Fannie Lou Hamer, Harriet, Sojouner’s truth is marching on. Women preachers and world leaders ain’t out the norm.”
I absolutely swear I did not make that up.
Despite having not the slightest clue what Mr. Common was rapping about, the assembled crowd roared its approval, and presumably shouted a bunch of curse words at President Trump. Because that’s how these things go.
Jane Fonda was also there in Park City, because of course Jane Fonda was there. “Everything is at stake. We’ve got to give it all we’ve got. Time is up,” she told the crowd of extremely wealthy people, echoing the cliches used by every high school football coach in every halftime speech in America. You would think someone who’s spent her entire adult life trying to destroy this country at events like this could come up with something better.
Back in Washington, politicians in both parties spent the entire day blaming the other side for the 14% shutdown, while doing absolutely nothing to end it. The Republicans have figured out that this this thing is not harming them politically in any way, so they have no real incentive to offer any more concessions than they already have, and the Democrats spent all day waiting on another poll from CNN to tell them which way to jump. Unfortunately, no such poll was in the works, so Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi spent the day stuttering and stammering before the TV cameras, looking as if they need to be administered mental acuity exams.
Meanwhile, Twitter remained all a-twitter about the four-page memo about Obama-era spying on the Trump Campaign and transition team that was made available for viewing by members of the House of Representatives on Thursday. Conservatives spent the second straight day demanding the classified memo be released to the public, while nervous leftwingers spent all day demanding it be kept secret because releasing it would be so darn divisive or something.
Multiple reports indicate that more than 150 members of the House have now viewed the memo, including no more than 3 Democrats. Democrats, of course, avoid being exposed to the truth much like the Wicked Witch of the West avoided being expose to water, since the truth is always fatal to their world view.
Despite the impatience from those on the political right, it will probably be a few weeks before the public sees the memo. Declassifying a document such as this, produced by a congressional committee, is a complex process that requires several levels of approval within congress, the Justice Department and the White House. That will take some time.
Yes, yes, for those of you sitting there thinking, “But the President can declassify anything he wants, you moron!”, I am well aware of that. But doing that would be seen as a purely political act, and the fake news media would use that to ignore the memo’s content and diminish its impact.
Just as with the DOJ Inspector General’s year-long internal investigation of FBI and DOJ wrongdoing, it is best to carefully go through the process, and get all the i’s dotted and t’s crossed, so that no one can be accurately accused of any process violations.
Everybody just needs to exercise patience here. We know for sure that the contents of this memo are damaging to the Democrats. If they weren’t, bug-eyed Adam Schiff or some other congressional D would have already found a way to leak it to the NYTimes or CNN.
Because violating the process is what the Democrats do. And remember: The only people sweating this out are Democrats. We should all be cool with letting them sweat it out for another couple of weeks.

They interviewed some of this bunch this morning on FOX. Just a bunch of homely old hippy women longing for the days of Woodstock and Obama. Nobody bothered to ask them why they didn’t march for “women’s rights” when Bonzo was on the throne.
Basis the last census, 76% of all adults are either divorced or never married. Bet it is over 85% now. Who the ‘fug’ wants these women? And the more they act like this the more they get shunned.
Saw quite a few photos. Fake news photographers tried to repeatedly front up the same handful of women under 30 and a few male homosexuals for the photos, but nearly all of those attending the protests were old women.
