President Donald Trump – What Real Leadership Looks Like

• Yesterday’s Campaign Update speculated that, since no details of Andrew McCabe’s Tuesday testimony before the House Intelligence Committee had leaked to CNN, that meant that either CA Democrat Adam “Bugeyes” Schiff had missed the hearing or McCabe’s testimony was not helpful at all of the Democrats. Based on last night’s revelations on Fox News, it seems the latter was the case, as McCabe apparently gave testimony that was incomplete, misleading, and that conflicted previous testimony offered by himself and other witnesses.

• That ain’t good, and Republican members of the committee came out of the hearing promising to issue a raft of subpoenas targeting Bruce Ohr, Nellie Ohr, Peter Strzok and anyone else they can think of who is facilitating the DOJ/FBI stonewalling of this and other congressional committees. The subpoenas will likely go out next week, so they will make nice New Year’s gifts for all the Deep State thugs still ensconced in the Hoover Building.

• While San Fran Nan was out declaring the Republican tax bill to be “cruel,” “greedy,” and accusing Republicans of “killing Tiny Tim” at Christmastime, senior management at companies like AT&T, Wells Fargo, Comcast and Boeing were announcing that they would award special Christmas bonuses to tens of thousands of employees now that their massive tax burdens will be reduced. Of course, Pelosi and her fellow grasping Democrats do consider such bonuses to be cruel and greedy, since they mean that they don’t get to take that money from those workers and decide to redistribute it to people who are more likely to vote for Democrats. So it all makes sense from a very perverted point of view.

• The fake news media of course continued to play its never-ending role as the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party in its blatant lying about this bill. A great example came on NBC’s Today Show, where fake host Savanna Guthrie, in questioning Speaker Paul Ryan about the GOP’s belief that the bill would create jobs and new business investment, asked him “are you living in a fantasy world?” Mind you, this is a woman who has, for the last 20 years or so, helped perpetuate a Today Show fantasy world in which Matt Lauer was just a wonderful family man who wasn’t serially abusing women behind the locked door to his office. Yeah, THAT Savanna Guthrie.

• Shortly after Guthrie demonstrated her utter economic ignorance by asking that question, AT&T announced that, directly thanks to the passage of the tax bill, it was moving on a plan that would increase its investment in the U.S. economy by more than $1 billion in 2018 alone.

• Meanwhile, President Donald Trump (I never tire of typing those three words) took a victory lap at the White House along with a large group of senators and representatives who played roles in getting the bill over the finish line. And who could blame him? The man has worked tirelessly to find a way to get to a win on what will be remembered as the big legislative achievement of his first year in office.

• And make no mistake about this reality: Donald Trump is the only one of the initial 17 candidates who sought the GOP presidential nomination in 2016 who could have gotten this bill done. Why? Because he is the only one of those 17 men who could not care less what the fake news media says or thinks about him. Like Ronald Reagan in 1981, only a Republican President who doesn’t give a damn about his short-term personal popularity can get these very big pieces of legislation with long-lasting impacts through a congress filled with weak-kneed politicians who spend every waking hour living in fear of negative media coverage.

• It is no accident that, of those 17 original GOP candidates, Donald Trump was the only one who was not a captive to a huge staff of professional talking-points monkeys and campaign advisers. It is no accident that, when those 17 candidates were arrayed on a debate stage and started answering questions from biased moderators, Donald Trump’s answers stood out like a sore thumb. Yes, those answers sometimes made even me cringe, but one thing was obvious about them: While all the others were reciting memorized talking points that had been written by others, Donald Trump was telling America what he really believes. This simple reality, more than all other factors combined, is why Donald Trump is President today.

• That simple reality, that refusal to be held hostage to conventional wisdom or to buy into the long-held fantasies pushed out by the DC Swamp and its propaganda agents like Savannah Guthrie, is also why Donald Trump is without doubt the most effective – and most demonized – President in modern U.S. history, perhaps ever. The grand scope and scale of what he has accomplished during his first year in office – The Campaign Update will go through all of this in great detail next week – is truly stunning.

• In one short year, the disgraceful, anti-American legacy of Barack Obama has almost completely been wiped from the books. Only a President who cares nothing about his short-term public approval ratings could have achieved what Trump has achieved. This is leadership of a type we have never witnessed in the presidency.

• Trump still has a long way to go to get the DC Swamp completely drained, but a better start in one short year is difficult to imagine.

Only in that I’m curious how many media voices say what they believe versus what they’re told to say.

If the females allow themselves to be sexually abused in order to advance their careers, certainly they can say what they’re told to say for the sake of their careers.

“Pennsylvania" has a lot of sylables to it, and I remember reading that it is the only state (well, “Commonwealth”) in the Union whose natives refer to it in conversation by its standardized postal abbreviation - “PA."
