REPORT: Mitch McConnell Camp Planted Roy Moore Story To Clear Path For Trump Impeachment Attempt
DC Whispers ^

Posted on 11/19/2017 6:59:00 AM PST by drewh

What a disgusting cesspool of self-serving corruption is the nation’s capital and no better example of that can be found today than Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell who, according to longtime political activist, Ned Ryun, was a primary source of the anti-Roy Moore stories that are now attempting to sway the upcoming Alabama special election and help clear the path for a Trump impeachment attempt in 2018.

“…I strongly suspect it’s a very short list of people, all who are associated with Mitch McConnell – whether it’s Josh Holmes, whether it’s Karl Rove, might even be Steven Law – I don’t know, but I strongly, strongly suspect somebody out of the McConnell camp planted the story. It was planted. This came with the blessing of Mitch McConnell at some point, that he was going to take a political shot at Roy Moore.”

According to whispers, it wasn’t just taking “political shot” at Moore that motivating the McConnell camp. They want Roy Moore out of the way and replaced with someone of McConnell’s choosing, or even Moore’s Democrat opponent, Doug Jones, a man whose career is linked to the Bill Clinton administration. Moore would be a vehement defender of POTUS Trump and his policies. If McConnell is to succeed in laying the groundwork for an impeachment trial and vote in the Senate, he will need fewer senators like Roy Moore to contend with.

McConnell is said to know actual impeachment proceedings remain a distant possibility, (the Paul Ryan-led House would first have to vote to impeach) but he is more determined than ever to be ready should that opportunity present itself. For those who might scoff at the notion of a Republican Congress actually pursuing articles of impeachment against Donald Trump, simply recall the failed votes to repeal and replace Obamacare, the ongoing troubles to pass tax cuts, and the number of Republican senators who continue to openly speak out against the President.

The motivation to go after Trump is there. What is left is a simple matter of numbers. Getting rid of a Roy Moore and replacing him with a an anti-Trump senator would give McConnell that much more leverage to make his dreams of eliminating Trump a reality.

Reveal of use of $15m in taxpayer funds as sex assault Confressional slush fund blew their plan.

**************

The congress is suffering from extremely low ratings and nasty revelations such as the one you point out. If there’s one thing we can be sure of its that they don’t like the spotlight shined on their unpopularity and transgressions.

For that reason, I predict the senate will find a way to pass the tax cut legislation despite its antipathy towards Trump. Imagine if you will, the spectacular failure to produce constructive legislation for the American people in one year, under the backdrop of ever widening distrust and disgust by the voters. The congress in general is facing some serious back draft from voters next year if they don’t produce and clean up their act.

We will get some for of a tax cut if for no other reason than to redirect our focus and/or change the conversation for a little while. They don’t want us to know what sordid things go on behind the curtains.

I’ve seen those ads and I can not believe Steyer has not yet been visited by President Trump’s very high power lawyers to discuss defamation of character and libel.

FLOTUS won big wen the Daily Mail did a similar character assassination.

Deranged.

If this is true, I hope the president is making a list. Though President Trump is a smart guy and doesn’t need to write it down.

He already has to fight the Dems and the media. And this? I have never seen anything like it.

The establishment is not happy.

The long knives are out in Washington and they have been since the primary election season.

Donald J. Trump is their target.

We need to be restless, rebellious and offering zero support the business as usual Republicans in the nation’s capital including our local Senators and Congressmen who are loyal to that leadership.

If we would ATTACK, which we have more than enough ammunition to do, they would start DEFENDING and not have time to mess with Trump.

So, it’s official then -

we now have Mitch McConnell, John McCain, and Jeff Flake vying for the title of Biggest Asshole in the Republican Party ....

(though of course Susan Collins and Bob Corker deserve some consideration too ....)

There never was democracy, because we're not one.

Thank you! So tired of people calling the US a democracy when we are a republic.

Unusual that McConnell and his allies, within an hour of the original Wapo release, raced to the microphones to condemn the Judge.

I've never seen them move so quickly before.

Hate to say this but, you are the fool. The Communists, Nazis and Facists love folks like you. You sell your freedom and liberty quite easily. Obama wants to contact you to be the first “Single Payer”. And, Mitch McConnell is nothing but a low life, slithering snake, in the grass and Karl Rove is even worse.

Go Judge, Roy Moore...wake up Alabama...support and vote for Judge Roy Moore.

Not only do we need to attack, we need to demand that every bit of the slush fund be revealed to the public.

Unbelievable, but a few days ago I saw a commercial trying to make the case to impeach this President.

The guy talking looked normal too.

I quickly switched channels so I don’t know how it ended.

Yet the one who really should have been impeached, or rather never been POTUS in the first place, gets 8 years of praise.
