A timely and stunning statistic befitting the recent death of Americas patriarch of pornography: a shocking 110 million Americansover one-third of our populationare saddled with a sexually transmitted disease. According to The New York Times,
"The incidence of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis is increasing, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. An estimated 110 million Americans now are infected with a sexually transmitted disease. ..."
Additionally, more than one out of every six people aged 14 to 49 has genital herpes. (Thus the rise of all of the Valtrex commercials on TV.) Among many other tragic outcomes, the rampant rate of STDs in America is the real legacy of notorious sexual provocateur, Hugh Hefner. Thanks to the desire to make our own rules when it comes to sex, following the lead of Hefner and his like-minded moral deviants, we find ourselves with STD rates in the U.S. at an all-time high.

Very apt.
Off topic, but can anyone explain why a 91 yo with e-coli and septicemia wasn’t in the hospital?
Home hospice?
The abandonment of virtue is not liberation. It is slavery to sin. Hefner was a slave to his sins, wallowing in them like a pig in filth and urging his followers to do likewise.
Perhaps. Home treatment for e-coli seems reasonable. But once septicemia developed, one would think hospitalization was warranted.
Found this on WedMD:
‘If you do have sepsis, your doctor will likely place you in the hospitals intensive care unit (ICU). There, hell try to stop the infection, keep vital organs functioning, and regulate your blood pressure (IV fluids and extra oxygen can help with this).’

You understand the ‘hospice’ means letting nature take its course with the exception of easing pain and anxiety? A person does not receive ‘treatment’.
Hypothetical anyway. Just suggesting a possibility.
Back in 1962, there was no VD in our area. I heard older men brag about picking up some gal at Oklahoma and Kansas bars for fun and games.
That all changed after the Playboy Philosophy and sexual revolution hit! Fifteen years later everyone I know who picked up some skank at an Oklahoma bar always ended up with clap or crabs.
No, I didn’t understand that. So if a person gets very sick and just wants to die, they stay at home and call it hospice. A nurse comes around with the pain pill, but that’s it.
I just learned something.
He never could have out-fought Santino
Back around 2005 in Springfield MO the school nurse told me that elementary kids were getting STDs because they heard that not having intercourse was not having sex.

The legacy of the Defense of BJ Clinton, too “great” to fail.
It does sound a lot like a projection from a faulty, non-random sample. I don't doubt that it might be a nationwide epidemic but not at that level of infection.
Yup. And all they have to do is hear someone talking about it and the rumors roll.

Followers? It is said, the devil doesn’t MAKE Man do *anything*, he can only whisper in ones ear.
Others chose to wallow along, the other voices weren’t convincing or loud enough to be heeded.
Of course, whether or not one gets an STD after “picking up a skank,” one will still reap dire consequences for such sin.
