Maybe that was a mama buzzard typing. They prefer fresh and natural meat.

It’s garbage.

Even if you ignore all the deaths caused by Beneful, they load ALL their food with China imported synthetic vitamin K, Menadione.

Last year, I unwittingly bought some of their food that was *not* obviously a Purina product and one of my dogs became very sick from the Menadione.

They KNOW it’s bad but it’s CHEAP so they keep using it.

Their FB page is grotesque smorgasbord of lies and excuses.

However, their massive campaigns and “good works” of donations to shelters blind people to the truth.

Villainy wears no deadlier guise than Virtue.

Their feeds are poison.

We have a huge plant near here and the stories the employees tell would turn you off that crap forever.

And recalls, OMG, the infinite and endless recalls.

No.
Way.

It’s not for nothing that Putrina ALWAYS tops the “worst dog foods” list every year.

Utter garbage not fit for maggots.

And what, exactly, what that supposed to mean?

You have a problem with me trying to keep people from poisoning their pets?

Purina is a criminal enterprise.

I spar with them on FB quite often and they NEVER admit the Menadione issue, or any other horrors.

Grieving owners post necropsy and vet results of their pets dead from their foods and they say “Sorry you had a problem. Would you like some coupons?”

Purina usually rates among the lower quality dog foods.

Regardless of what brand you get the dog food needs to be grain free (especially avoid wheat and corn based foods).

I was using Merrick Back Country and Castor & Pollux Ultramix.

Guess who they sold out to, after decades of promoting themselves as the anti-Purina.
Both brands *swear* they will never change anything but *many* users have already noticed “issues” since Purina assimilated them.

We’ve switched to Spot Farms, Canidae, Earth Borne and Wellness.

Purina never enters my house. It’s cereal-laden, by-product-laden garbage. I’m sure it causes a lot of pets to have digestive upsets because its ingredients are so far from what the animal normally eats. My kitties get Wellness, Natural Balance, Solid Gold, and high quality foods like that. All you have to do is look at their coats. Cats fed Friskies, Purina, and other garbage foods have dull thin coats. Cats fed the good stuff have thick glossy coats. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

When I had pets we used PMI, which is from Purina Mills (now an entirely different company), and is reputedly much better than the supermarket Nestle-Purina stuff. Back in the SIXTIES, our vet warned us that dry Friskies was responsible for our cat’s bad kidneys.

We have cats. Cats are obligate carnivores. If Purina does a product line that isn’t filled with grains, I am unaware of it.

Do you remember YORCO dog food?

It was basically meat, blood and bone meal with a few flakes of flattened field corn thrown in for “fiber”.

You mixed it with warm water and it doubled in size.

A 25 pound bag gave 50 or more pounds of food and it smelled *delicious*, kinda like beef stew.

We kids used to fight to be the ones to feed the dogs on the farm.

The dogs were mad for it.

They stopped making it sometime in the late 80s and I’ve missed it ever since.

Anyone who has Netflix, *please* watch the show called “Pet Fooled”.

It will change your entire paradigm.
