LOL, I may have to check it out, thanks for posting it!
when did they put the mansion doorbell running joke to rest?
It was aired as episode #1 but with a laugh track. The music wasn’t right either.
I watched season 1 on Prime but haven’t found the one with the automatic foot washers yet.
How dare U post this vile CRAP!
Che Guevara for President!!!
/sarc off
Thanks for the link, comrade.
I really liked the early scene with the cars driving down the Beverly Hills streets. Beautiful 1962 Cadillacs, Lincolns, Thunderbirds, and a Rolls Royce. It looks like they just set up a camera next to the street and started filming cars as they came down the street.
Thanks. Just watched half of it...great humor.
Amazing, they are joking about Ellie May popping buttons on her blouse!

Originally, it was Paul Henning’s intention to cast Bea Benaderet in the role of “Granny.” He had known Benaderet for a number of years, and admired her work. However, Irene Ryan really nailed the audition, and it was Benaderet herself who told Henning that Ryan should get the part. Out of loyalty to Bea Benaderet, Paul Henning then added the character of “Cousin Pearl” for her, and later cast her in the lead of “Petticoat Junction.”
The pilot was named the “Hillbillies of Beverly Hills.” Did they change it for the first episode? “The Beverly Hillbillies” works so much better.
Ellie May bump for later!
Bump for later
Miss Jane: You attended Oxford?
Jethro: Yes,ma'am...I was the crawdad eatin' champ!
I wonder if they were testing out Granny wearing glasses. She loses them at about the 4:20 mark. Has them on, then they suddenly disappear.
Mine are doing that all the time, too. One minute I’m wearing them and the next minute they’re gone.
bump
If it was made today, the evil oil company would have bought all the land for $500 and raped Ellie May
