I have 3 big, old bur oaks on my property that have already started dropping their leaves.
My neighbor has a very large maple tree that just will not drop it’s leaves in my yard until right after the first big snow. Grrrrrrrr
Our big red maple has been dropping a bit early this year, I think due to a hot/dry spell at the end of July.
In Omaha, we are expecting temperatures in the mid 90s or more, today.
People say that autumn is their favorite season because of the fall colors.
Well I say bosh! A summer-time itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini on the beach is plenty colorful for my eye! ;-)
