In the video below, protestors in the street are shouting “No justice, no peace!” for Kenneka Jenkins, a dead, black Chicago teenager, because security video showed her walking, by herself, into a hotel’s walk-in freezer before she died.
I’m not sure exactly who the protestors are protesting against.
But hey, justice is important, and I hope whoever is responsible for this will get prosecuted to the fullest extent that the law allows.

Near as I can tell, the responsible party got the death penalty.

All commercial freezers have obvious handles on the inside. Probable suicide.
For people sweltering post-hurricane without power a freezer would be enticing. In this case it sounds like alcohol and/or drugs. Was she on meds,had mental problems? What a stupid senseless way to die at that age. Protesting against stupidity might be a good cause but that’s something personal-threatening violence only demonstrates the ultimate stupidity.
Anytime the drum beat is "No Justice No Peace" you can with certainty know it should be ignored. They do this to make themselves seem significant when they don't have their faces in the press , so time top get noticed again....
But to be fair.... the drum beat etc. is well documented both in their history and native homelands in 'identifying' their various tribes.
Yep. Every walk-in freezer or refrigerator can be opened from the inside even if locked from the outside. Every freezer has an alarm bell than can be rung from the inside.
Additionally many times a pick-head axe is mounted to the inside of the freezer door as a last resort. They are just two very thin pieces of metal with foam in the middle. It does not take much to destabilize the door around the latch area to render it useless.
