>>POLL: What is the best way to deal with North Korea?

MASSIVE preemptive attack continuing until the Nork’s entire military capability is utterly destroyed, and that despicable little dwarf is a confirmed kill.

That’s an interesting idea. Would the price be too high, and could we trust them?

Gather up all the intel you possibly can on their leaders’ hideouts and bunkers, and on their nuclear facilities and missile sites, their scientists, their suppliers, their military bases, defense sites, satellites, communications & command centers, whereabouts on all their submarines and warships, their financial centers and all government offices and facilities, etc; surround and blockade their nation with multi-national forces and give them 24 hours to surrender. If the fat idiot utters a single threat let the conventional missile rain pour forth. Shock and awe on steroids. If he launches so much as a scud, wipe NK off the face of the earth.

1) Get S. Korea and Japan on board as regards the points below; S. Korea would bear the brunt of any warfare; Japan’s already been nuked once so they shouldn’t take the risk of getting hit again unless they agree to the risks involved in eliminating a nuked-up madman in the neighborhood.

2) Convince the S. Koreans that the danger of Hurricane Pyongyang is so great that they need to begin an evacuation of Seoul post-haste; other than their nukes, the major club the NORKS hold is their ability to rain artillery on the South’s capital.

3) As Seoul empties out, assemble a show of force in the Sea of Japan the likes of which has never been seen before; shoot, bring the Missouri out of mothballs just cause it’s so cool - just make sure it’s chock full of cruise missiles.

4) Tell the North Korean military that if any nukes are used, we’re re-erecting the gallows used at Nuremberg; point out that any “accident” that might occur to fat boy would likely lead to negotiations that would surely operate to the advantage of all involved.

5a) If the NORKS launch nukes at anybody, anything of value in the country is turned to radioactive glass

5b) If the NORKS start a preemptive strike on the South, anything military or governmental is hit with conventional force of the shock-and-awe variety.

5c) If neither of the above occur, they get 24 hours to open up their nuke facilities to an international group (that is, us); if not, they’ll be targeted, along with any governmental sites we choose and any site we think might be harboring fat boy.

6) Once all that crap is settled, we send a message to whatever mullah is at the top of the totem pole in Iran, and tell them we’d like to chat.

All right, it’s probably not realistic - but just think where we’ll be 10 - 15 years down the line the way things have been going in the last decade.

They don’t have an option for “total extermination”.

>>Ignore them. Lil Kim wants a world stage to act on. His tiny insignificant country wants attention so this is the only way he can get it.

Good thinking! And if you’re mistaken about the matter and several million Americans are incinerated by an ICBM, you can be exonerated just by saying “Oops, guess I was wrong. Oh well!” Of course that assumes you’re not at ground zero when the missile hits.

Pull our troops and sell arms incuding nukes to Japan and S. Korea. Let them handle their own defense for a change

Use it as an opportunity to spin up South Korea and Japan as a deterrent to China.
