Media’s “Trump Is A Monster” Narrative Dies In Houston
DB Daily Update ^ | 9.3.2017 | David Blackmon

If you want a great example of how the President’s humanizing visit to Houston and Louisiana is destroying the left’s world view, take a look as this piece, which discusses the shock an MSNBC reporter has felt as he’s been assaulted by the angry left for tweeting a message acknowledging the reality of the President’s visit, and how Houstonians of all ages, colors and genders reacted to him. Very educational about the true agenda of those on the angry left.

Here’s the reality that the fake news media has run smack-dab into over the last week, while covering the recovery efforts in Texas: Most Americans are just really good, normal people. They care about one another, they help one another, the rednecks and Cajuns in their fishing boats don’t pick and choose to rescue the people who look just like them first, leaving those with different-colored skin to wait in line. They rush into harm’s way and start getting people out indiscriminately, take them to safety, and rush back in to do it all over again.

For the media people who live in their safe little bubbles in New York, Washington and Los Angeles, this is utterly shocking. Because their own reporting has constantly informed them that everyone out there in “flyover country”, i.e., the other 98% of America, is a hateful racist, bigots who only want to harm people who aren’t just like they are.

One of the big news stories around here was how Melania Trump was wearing “inappropriate five inch heels,” and “shoes that no doubt cost upwards of $1,000” - while victims were suffering the after-effects of the floods, as if she were “Marie Antoinette.”

I remember Michelle Obama feeding the homeless while wearing a pair of $500 shoes - but the media said nothing about it, ever. Or about her lavish vacations.

Never forget , the rules are ALWAYS different for Democrats-without fail and in every instance.

Simply because “everyone knows Democrats care about the little guy” and “Republicans try to kill as many people around the world as they can.”

At least, that is how the MSM has always believed.

She was wearing Nikes in Houston. But, it was the FLOTUS cap that set off the lunatic liberals then. They are some very sick people.

That’s a nice thought but I rather doubt it.

She was - she changed to more appropriate footwear on the plane. How sneaky of her. Fooling moronic liberals like that.

I usually let the odd grammatical or usage error go but the piece linked was overflowing with them.

Sure, because Trump threw a temper tantrum and threatened to nuke the Nike presidents house unless he chartered a jet help to make an air-to-air shoe transfer to correct for Flotus’ faux pas..../s

“”I thought I heard that Melania was wearing some Nikes on the ground in Texas.””

On Tuesday, she left the WH in heels (which set off the firestorm of criticism) for the helicopter to Andrews and was in Nikes when she got off the plane in TX.

On Saturday, she left the WH in Nikes and got off the plane in TX wearing Nikes - BUT - to make matters worse. On Saturday she left the WH in a blue blouse, arrived in TX in a blue blouse BUT when they departed TX to go home, she had on a white blouse. That was no doubt racist...and I’m sure it will never happen again.

Media’s “Trump Is A Monster” Narrative Dies In Houston

Liberal media narratives are not meant to communicate facts and are therefore immune to facts. This particular media narrative hasn't died and it won't until Trump is an ex-president, at which point the media narrative will be that the next Republican president is even worse than Trump.

The same thing is now happening with George W. Bush, whom the media reviled as both stupid and evil during his presidency, but is now considered not so bad in comparison to Trump. When his presidency is finished, Trump will seem not so bad to the media compared to the next Republican president. It's tiresome and predictable.

I'll expect to hear Phil Knight soon issue a public statement asking Melania Trump to refrain from wearing Nikes until she and the president comply with a list of liberal demands. It's predictable.

I’m old enough to still call that footwear “sneakers” but since everyone else said Nikes, that’s what I went with. I didn’t want to appear “out of touch” tho’ I really am. Such small worlds these critics live in...kind of like “The Devil Wears Prada?” In their world, there is no fault, no blame, no faux pas; everything is as it should be for the ENTIRE world...

GW Bush became a famous and compassionate artist the moment he was willing to criticize Trump.

F*ck the media. They were going to do a Katrina on Trump but it failed because the people are seeing what he is really like. F*ck the media. They are fuming and will soon be inventing something and blowing it up all out of proportion. F*ck the media.

The media doesn’t report news they report their views and we know what that is worth.
