If she takes him out she will be the de-facto leader of the new GOP Class, a no more messin' around class(Hellers, Corkers and such). Could she nationalize the elections with Trump taking a high profile role? It's an opportunity to put the RINOS in the background where they belong. It starts with Flake-a fish smaller than McCain.
There’s one small problem in states like Arizona: open primaries. Democrats and other assorted radicals will vote for Flake in the primary.

I have met her and spoken with her one-on-one. I think she has the chops for it but does not yet have a big enough organization due to the money for a statewide race.
Hildy knows her and I believe LS and others in the valley of the sun have met her when she ran against McSlime.
I’m certainly voting for her, flake really crossed the line with his never trump nonsense.

I’ll donate and crawl across broken glass to vote for her, but I’m not optimistic. Between the LDS vote and the “Cheap Labor Express” $$$$ behind Flake, it will be tough!
Unless Ward has upped her game since the McCain campaign she is out of her depth.
She needs to step aside and let a stronger challenger step up.

I would really like for someone to step up take on Heller & Corker but who out there is going to do it? Ward is the only serious one. She stepped up against McLame when no one else would. I say nationalize the Az. primary. I’m giving her $50 for the second time. Could the Az. legislature put an end to open primaries? One would think so.
The AZ legislature is GOP-E. They would appoint McCain and Flake if we didn’t have direct elections. I hope Kelli does well because I get tired of being blamed for these losers.

Arizona is CHANGING. Obama lost to Romney by 9% there. Trump won the state by only 3.5%. Huge closure. Flake won his seat there by only 3% and had less than 50% of the vote to do that. And he did it when the demographics gave Romney that lead. It has since closed.
Arizona is moving leftward. The answer to this is not to run candidates who are more rightward than the guy who just barely won last time. If you want to have rightward candidates in office, then persuade the general populace. Don’t try to get them by removing the only hope you have of holding the seat.
Stop this silliness. You want conservatism? Persuade the Democrats to move rightward.

You can’t go by 2016 results when predicting 2018 elections. Trump was an unknown campaigner in 2016, and many Republicans, swayed by the constant media attacks, left the presidential ballot blank and only voted for their down-ballot reps.
Now that Trump has proven his mettle to all but the most stubborn never-Trumpers, running a candidate that is enthusiastically pro-Trump will win in most every republican district, and in many democrat districts to boot!
Let’s give that a try and show the GOPe exactly where Rebublican votes come from!

I'll disagree..the Dems chances are greater against an untested Kelli Ward than they would be with the incumbent Senator Jeff Flake.
Dems will vote for Ward in the Republican primary for the same reason some GOPs voted for Bernie in the California Democrat primary.
