Democrat Senator spills the beans as to why this Russian investigation will never end
Flopping Aces ^ | 06-05-17 | DrJohn

Over the weekend Sen. Mark Warner, the top democrat on the Senate Intelligence community, said (as so many already have) that there is no smoking gun in the Trump-Russia investigation:

WASHINGTON – The top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee says “there’s no smoking gun” in the Russian collusion investigation and Hillary Clinton leaped to conclusions when she said Americans “guided” the Kremlin ‘s meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

“There’s a lot of smoke,” Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) told CNN’s “State of the Union.” “We have no smoking gun at this point. But there is a lot of smoke.”

Warner also didn’t back up Clinton’s assertion Wednesday that Americans helped the Russians in how best to weaponize information to hurt her during the presidential election. Warner said there’s no “foolproof” evidence yet that Russian paid Internet trolls to target the fake news to certain states and demographics.

“I’m not where Secretary Clinton is in terms of jumping to a conclusion,” Warner said. “But this is one of the many questions that we need to investigate.”

There's a lot of smoke. Uh huh. That smoke is coming from the burning asses of democrats who can't find any crimes committed by Trump. Has anyone anywhere seen a single example of "Russian hacking"? With their incessant carping, democrats have 59% of their addle-minded constituents believing that Russia actually changed the Presidential vote tallies.

The feckless Maxine Waters insists on impeaching Trump without a shred of evidence of wrongdoing. The equally vapid Rep. Al Green is also bent on impeachment without any evidence of wrongdoing.

It's been obvious to anyone with half a brain that Russia was not out to help Trump as much as it was to hinder hillary clinton for her interference in Russia's elections. democrats have been furiously trying to smother that fact. It was this morning, though, that democrat Senator Joe Manchin (WV) spilled the beans on how democrats view the investigation and how it will be conducted.

In an interview on CBS This Morning Manchin responded to a question from Charlie Rose saying

"Help us prove your innocence"
It's at 4:37 of the video here.

"Help us prove your innocence."

Astonishing. Absolutely mind boggling.  Manchin might want to re-acquaint himself with the US Constitution. The legal system does not work that way.

The prosecution must, in most cases prove that the accused is guilty beyond reasonable doubt. ... Under the Justinian Codes and English common law, the accused is presumed innocent in criminal proceedings, and in civil proceedings (like breach of contract) both sides must issue proof.
One does not prove one is innocent, but as Manchin demonstrates, this is the standard democrats are going to employ on Trump. Trump will need to prove he's innocent rather than them prove he's done anything wrong.

It's all is a ruse. It is means of crippling Donald Trump's Presidency. Has anyone seen a single concrete example of Russian "hacking"? Collusion?

The only “smoke” in this case is the smoke the RATs and low-info types are trying to blow up the Peoples’ azz. RATS = ISIS

The only “smoke” is the fake news. Lots of bogus stories based on anonymous sources, not one of which has panned out or resulted in a shred of evidence.

The smoke is unrelated to Trump and Russia. The smoke is a combination of the Democrat Party up in smoke and the media’s ethics up in smoke and it smells like a burn barrel filled with trash.

I am of the opinion that it will only “end” when the evidence points to Clinton and other Dems

Don't blame the dems. What has the Republican majority in the HOR and US Senate done to control their rogue members? Think of how much good they could've done if they'd spent the past five months passing laws, knowing they have a President who will sign them. Instead, they take vacations, enable dem crazies, and let McCain undermine just about everything.

I'm wondering if they aren't the most useless clear-majority party in the history of civilization.

It's not so much what you don't know that will get you in trouble. It's what you know that ain't so.

If that ever happens, the narrative will shift to "they all do it" (aka, "nothingburger") and "old news."

How the Clintons Sold Out U.S. National Interests to Russia
by Deroy Murdock, NTL REVIEW, April 7, 2017

EDITED EXCERPT--Democrats and drive-bys are pathologically obsessed with the hypothesis that Team Trump and Russia rigged last November’s presidential election.

Yet, the Trump haters snored as Hillary and Bill made Russia great again.

If Donald J. Trump so much as played Tchaikovsky’s Marche Slav on his stereo, these leftists deduce, he was in cahoots with the Kremlin. Meanwhile, the same folks who spy a KGB agent behind every filing cabinet in Trump’s White House are aggressively apathetic about Hillary and Bill Clinton’s policies, decisions, and actions that gave aid and comfort to Russia.

Hillary’s much-mocked “Russian reset” established the tone for the Clintons’ coziness with the Kremlin.

On March 6, 2009, Hillary presented Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov a small, red button. Hillary thought it was emblazoned with the Russian word for “reset.”

Her team mistranslated and the button actually read “overload.” Nonetheless, Clinton and Lavrov jointly pressed the symbolic button. And a new era in U.S.–Russian relations erupted.

.....visiting Moscow on March 24, 2010, Hillary explained the Reset’s purpose: “Our goal (meaning she and the Obama Admin) is to help strengthen Russia”...... ....

This is my opinion on what this is all about. The Democrat party has to delegitimize Trump’s presidency because if they have to accept that he won legitimately, they have to accept that they have to change some things about themselves and they aren’t interested in changing anything about themselves. They are interested in weaseling their way back into power as quickly as possible so they can pick up right where they left off and continue doing all the ridiculous things that got them thrown out of power in the first place. They hope America will be so focused on Donald Trump and Russia, that they will forget just how bad the Democrats suck.

Trump needs to find an FBI head that will make good on his promise to lock that witch up. Comey never would have.

They are going to keep the accusations open as long as they possibly can even if they are not justified.

The reason we have to prove guilt is because it is impossible to prove a negative as in “prove you are innocent” or said another way, “prove you are not guilty”. It can’t be done.

e.g. Prove you did not do something on FR that is worthy of getting you banned. You can’t do it. No you can’t. Neither can Trump prove he did not do anything wrong.

Another example: Prove there is no man-made global warming or climate change or whatever you want to name it today. You can’t an that is the position we have been put into.

This is but one of the tools of the left. It isn’t fair and it isn’t right but it is what they do.

Trump has done too many things for too long in too many places to have not done something wrong sometime even if he did not mean to. Pretty much the same for all of us. It is likely each of us breaks some law each day that could get us in some kind of trouble. I feel just like Rumsfeld when I send in my taxes, the only thing I am certain of is that they are not correct. The code is just too complicated and too open to interpretation.

We have become just like the Soviet under Stalin when his chief of KGB said to him, “Show Me The Man, And I’ll Show You The Crime” - Lavrentiy Beria.

This little ditty is a good study by the Cato Institute: https://www.cato.org/policy-report/januaryfebruary-2010/criminalization-almost-everything

They will get Trump given enough time. If they don’t get him they will crucify him in the court of public opinion.

“...I’m wondering if they aren’t the most useless clear-majority party in the history of civilization....”

Let me try and keep it simple: RATS=GOPe=DNC=BLM=ISIS=UniParty. They’re all one and the same. They all belong to one party and take their orders from the same place.
It’s the UniParty versus Trump & the American People.
Once folks realize this, the whole mess is quite easy to understand.

This is a plan to tarnish Trump’s presidential victory and cripple his ability to deal with Russia

Trump knows it and so does Putin
So does Paul Ryan know this? Mitch McConnell? The GOP?

Never mind. They know.

So why are they cooperating
