Over the years, Progressives have taken over the education system from elementary to college level and this is what it is now costing our Republic.

I would refuse to comply. I'd take an F for the project if pushed.

Or, you could have some fun with it. Write it in all Arabic...with plenty of non sequiturs and spelling errors. And then perfume it with camel dung.

Are they able to use the papers from students on the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor from the Japanese point of view? Or perhaps the Rape of Nanjing vs mussie slaughter of Christian kids by tossing them into a bread kneading machine.

Actually, this would be fairly easy. You’d assume a person who is baked up on narcotics....unable to comprehend the world in any fashion....hyped on a fake religion....inserting ‘jihad’ into every 12th phrase, and blame the liberal American education system for creating an unfair slant against you.

Okay, as long as next week, they are assigned to write about the Bath School massacre from Kehoe’s perspective.

Oh I would get an F for sure, but what I wrote would be very very instructive. I’d be sure to mention all about the real Islam that everyday mooselimbs truly believe and what barbarians mooselimbs are in all its barbaric, violent 7th century attitudes, what Islam views the world should be like. Very instructive indeed and for sure, I’d get a massive F if not kicked out of class - for writing the truth.

“I’m a poor, stupid, Son of a Bitch, who believes that if I kill a bunch of people my Imam says are bad, I will get to spend eternity boinking a bunch of virgins.

My Imam, who knows everything, told me I would get extra virgins if I blew up these two towers!

Why my Imam doesn’t want to get some virgins for himself, I’ll never know. Maybe the guy is not as smart as I am.

Here I go! KABOOM!”

There. An honest truthful report on 9/11 from the point of view of the attackers. Where’s my ‘A’

I would describe 72 virgins in vivid detail.

How does one get inside minds which are warped by a hatred and devoted to evil?

I don’t actually mind the assignment. Winning requires that you understand the enemy and what motivates them. I don’t see the assignment as supporting the terrorist beliefs, just recognizing what those beliefs are.

I would have no problem writing from that perspective and question the value of it if it was not part of a larger paper that allowed me to talk about the fallacies of thought that went into the perspective I had just written about...the assignment is not a bad one but in the hands of the teacher I imagine that it is more a path of indoctrination rather then an exploration of what goes into the thought process of terrorists.

Students were encouraged to use their imagination and make their papers as interesting as they’d like in the 500-word minimum assignment, and that there’s no correct answer, “just your ability to look at what we consider a heinous action from other perspectives.”

This is a great assignment! From the perspective of liars and pertpetual, whining victims, anything goes. I would have enjoyed an assignment like this.

The Great Satan... blah blah blah. Joos... blah blah blah... anger that the sun rose, anger that the sun set...

WTAF?

Let’s all learn to empathize with terrorists who slaughtered 3000 innocent Americans?

As a transplanted Yankee teenager in my new Southern high school, I listened with some amusement about the caning of Kansas Rep. Charles Sumner by the Honorable Preston Brooks, DEMOCRAT representative from South Carolina on May 22, 1856. It nearly killed Sumner and sharply polarized the public.

The event was symbolic of the “breakdown of reasoned discourse” in the pre-Civil War days. Like my kids used to say: “Are we there yet? Are we there yet?”. I think we’re close.

Since this is college, I wouldn't dismiss this assignment out of hand. College is supposed to be a place where students are exposed to opposing viewpoints. This writing assignment, if it is graded properly, can be an example of that.

A smart student would write about how terrorists are madly attempting to eradicate the conservative Judeo-Christian principles that this country was founded upon. The more crazy the terrorist perspective is written to be, the more it is based on unenlightened religious zealotry from before the Middle Ages, set against a moral framework of Western history that led to the creation of America that includes the university system, the more the student would be complying with the assignment.
