To the extent that Africa wants help working on addressing root causes of its problems I think they will find they have an ally in Donald Trump.

Why is it, that just about every nation in sub-Saharan Africa is a basket case????

Why is it, if having gotten rid of the legacy of colonialism, which was supposedly to blame for Africa’s problems, that these African nations are still basket cases, decades after the end of colonial rule???

A slave trade they cultivated for their own selfish political ends. They sold their own countrymen to the Europeans.

Everybody teaching this sort of things always overlooks this for some reason.

Can’t think of a reason why, but they do.

while warning that would come along with American promotion of human rights, whether they liked it or not.

And knowing Obama, that meant something about homosexuals rather than 'please stop using child soldiers'.

“Barack Hussein Obama, who never saw a foreign country whose interests he did not put ahead of his own country’s(except for the European ones)”

There. Added that necessary biographical note.

Seriously - can you imagine (given his family background, and his political ideology and record) what a muddled F*d up mess Obama’s psyche is?

delegates that the United States was ready to be a development partner with the continent

In Zero's world, "partner" means "we'll throw you and your political friends all kinds of free money to enrich yourselves and won't care as long as you do a few token things that I can take credit for come election day."

"For God's Sake, Please Stop the Aid!"

SPIEGEL Interview with African Economics Expert, July 4, 2005

The Kenyan economics expert James Shikwati, 35, says that aid to Africa does more harm than good. The avid proponent of globalization spoke with SPIEGEL about the disastrous effects of Western development policy in Africa, corrupt rulers, and the tendency to overstate the AIDS problem.

This is horse hockey. Obama did damn little for Africa other than lecture them and bomb them (see: Libya).

George W Bush, an imperfect President, did MORE for Africa in a humanitarian sense than Hussein OR the Impeached Bent One (Clinton) did COMBINED.

This Washington Post fake journalist can shove it.

They will be toiling under the yoke of their Chinese masters, yearning for the good ol’ days of European colonialism.

Yep. That’s because the Portuguese and Muslim inspired slave trade took their best and brightest and got them out of the hell hole of Africa’s Ivory Coast.

I would hope the President would still help Africa with goods produced here...

...not money or credits only goods produced here. Water purification products, farming items, advisors etc.
