Yes, although the latest Windows update has caused Edge to have a problem opening links in a new tab.

I’d suggest you run what ever spyware you have installed. Sounds like you picked up a virus somewhere. And if you don’t have good spyware installed, you’ll likely have to take it into the shop for a total cleaning and set up with spyware / antivirus protection. I had the same issue. Cost me $150 bucks to get it sorted out.
