Burrell will not appear on her show after the gospel singer made homophobic comments.
Burrell referred to "the perverted homosexual spirit" during a sermon at a church in Houston, Texas.
She had been due to sing with Pharrell Williams on The Ellen DeGeneres Show later this week.
But the talk show host, who is a well-known advocate of gay rights, tweeted : "For those asking, Kim Burrell will not be appearing on my show."
'No excuses' DeGeneres had been asked by fans to cancel Burrell's planned appearance and an online petition was launched.
In a video published after the sermon, Burrell said: "I love you and God loves you but God hates the sin in you and me."
The singer said she made "no excuses or apologies" for her comments.

I'd wager that median household income of Rush listeners,for example is in the 75th percentile,nationally.Median educational level of his show,I'd wager,is around 3 years of college.

Clearly if this singer had already been hired to sing on Ellen’s show, and she was fired for being a Christian, this singer has cause to bring a case against Ellen and the producer’s of her show for discrimination. I hope she does.

I wouldn’t limit this to Christophobic. While she tries to put up an image of being nice, Ellen has a reputation for being one of the nastiest, most obnoxious and cold personalities on daytime TV. Her reputation for being a b__ch is legendary.

Because Christianity, reflecting human nature, teaches that homosexuality is contrary to human nature, and, in order to justify her life choice, she rejects Christianity.

I have always felt burning hate towards Christians from the gay community. Some say it is our fault, but I believe it is a case of hating the messenger.
Kudos to Kim Burrell for not backing down. Her original statement was a bit overly saccharin though. God IS Love, however God does not love sinners outside of Christ. Sin is odious in His sight, and a sinner must be covered in Christ's Righteous robes in order to appear before a perfect, and sin hating God. Christ came to save sinners, however it does require repentance (turning away from sin) on the sinner's part.
When our Lord Jesus Christ saved the woman caught in adultery, He certainly said that He did not condemn her - but He also said, 'go, and sin no more'. We are unable to 'work' this repentance without the Holy Spirit enabling us to do so, however repentance is required.
Ezekiel 18:30b-32 ... Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? Ellen Degenerate is an in-your-face dyke. I loathe her. I can’t even stand to look at her, imagining her private moments. I also refuse to buy Halo cat food, because she has a part interest in the company. Good on Ms. Burrell for not backing down on her principles. I’m sure she will more than recoup the loss of income because of it, in pro-wholesome-lifestyle venues.

I find it fascinating that a cake maker or a wedding singer or a decorator cannot refuse service to a homosexual group or person based upon their disagreeing with the sexual issue, but DeGeneres can with no kick back from anyone including the media, and especially the media. Where is equal protection under the law? And where is the conservative media like FOX that should be cutting her a new keyster for it. This is one of the issues that should be made brutally public in a huge way. DeGeneres has been a Disney/ABC favorite used for voice overs for amusement park rides at World. Make it hurt, every time. That’s what Trump is about. That’s how America is made strong again. Expose the injustice and inequality of socialism.
