The reasons a hacker would leave any INFO would be to play CYA or to blame someone else. Most leave no evidence and your PC may well start acting slow/strange and/or your credit card has charges you might wanna know bout. Recently I had a $2691 Amex charge at a SAMS club in Utah. That same day 45 minutes earlier, a new cashier at Kroger’s acted dumb and ran my AMEX several times. Yes, I held the card. He must have wanted 3 IPADS gratis me. I mentioned something to the store manager. Next, I got all kinds of spam that day.

All or this hoorah about Russians "hacking the election" has successfully diverted the discussion totally to "who got the information" instead of the information itself. It is a given that the great nations and some of the lesser nations are constantly spying and hacking each other's computers. The content is accepted as TRUE but the Democrats or at least there is no denial, only redirection. It is too late to make the information revealed the subject. Even almost all the conservatives have accepted that the discussion is only about who got the information and gave it to Assange.

There isn’t anything that makes it look like the Russians did something other that blathering bureaucrats and politicians saying so.

Why in the world would anyone run PHP outside of a webserver context? The only reason I can think of offhand would be if it’s the only language someone knows, in which case I really wouldn’t want them near a command line in the first place.

My new favorite mental illness; confirmation bias. You following Scott Adams at all?
He's been expounding on "confirmation bias" all year, in relationship to Trump and the election.
He came up with a new, related phrase: "Confirmation Blindness".
This is where you can't see facts that are right in front of your nose, because of "confirmation bias".
Our enemas enemies on the Left suffer greatly from this disease.

“Hes in Costa Rica avoiding extradition for murder.”
That is not what Wikipedia says. He is supposedly involved in several online security companies and living with his wife in the Seattle area after having lived in Tennessee for a few years.
To: spel_grammer_an_punct_polise
Apparently he did resolve the murder accusation, and returned to the USA. I hadn’t heard that. He’s still nuts.
