If they did anything, and I don't know that they did, it was to facilitate people doing the job that our leftwing media refused to do - investigative journalism.
It would also help to arrest Trump. And call for new elections at the same time

I’m always thankful when someone has the time and stomach to give us a glimpse into the ever-demented minds at DU.
I don't recall anyone on THEIR side going this nuts after Bush was elected, then re-elected (2000/2004).
Their reactions, while theatrically funny, are disturbing, as they show a terrible decline in maturity. I can't imagine a country being run by such a stunted bunch.
They worry about possible Russian hacking but forget 20% of Hillary’s campaign cash came from Saudis...obviously from the boittoms of there hearts , expecting nothing in return.
I’m actually surprised Hillary hasn’t been whacked because she won’t be able to serve up the US to donors...rich, shady, foreign donors.
The big difference being that McCarthy was right.
And McCarthy was right the government was filled with spies and traitors, hundreds of them.
