Fight for 15 looks down for the count.
Andy Puzder understands what almost no liberals have even the slightest clue about: Businesses exist to maximize profit. If an employee enjoys prosperity as a result of providing value to the business and being commensurately rewarded, thats a good thing that makes everyone happy. But the purpose of the business is not to make employees rich just for the sake of it. Its to make the shareholders rich.
So when dopes take to the streets demanding a minimum wage of $15 with their mindless #FightFor15, Puzder understand exactly what that will mean. Minimum wage employees arent worth $15 an hour, and if thats what they need to be paid, then smart businesses like Hardees and Carls Jr. - whose parent company Puzder serves as CEO - will have to start investing in technology to do things like the taking of food orders. Hed rather employee people, but hes not dumb enough to do it if he has to lose money on the employment relationships.
I just saw them whining on Twitter. I’m getting fat on these delicious tears! :-o
Local Libs here in Utah are blowing head gaskets over this pick! This tells me he’s a great choice!
I love the sound of exploding liberal heads.
I’m a bit worried that he is an open borders, pro-amnesty type. But then the Sec. of Labor doesn’t make immigration policy.
He has taken children out of the arms of their mothers, ripped out their hearts and eaten the heart in front of the mother. (Source: Washington Post)
Perfect.
Any Trump pick hated or feared by the libs has got to be good for the country.
During tonight’s rally, Trump mentioned making an executive order directing the DOL to investigate labor costs
I love the sound of exploding liberal heads.

LOL!
These people are truly coming unglued! I love it!
Not so great a choice, he’s a Cheap Labor Express Republican.
Thinks illegal aliens should get amnesty.
Im a bit worried that he is an open borders, pro-amnesty type. But then the Sec. of Labor doesnt make immigration policy.

I wasn’t aware of that, but as you mentioned he won’t be setting immigration policy. I’m trusting Trump’s judgement on these picks, but I do understand your concern here.

I guess we’ll see.
Frankly, I’m not a big fan of Carl’s Jr. either. They ousted their founder because he was pro-life and they hawk their burgers by producing pornographic commercials.
IMHO this is a bad choice.

I think you have him mistaken for the head of Planned Parenthood.
Why do liberals hate conservatives?
They always hate those smarter than they.
And, of course, this explains why they hate pretty much everyone.
The positives are, he is against raising the minimum wage, he is a vocal supporter of the Trump tax plan and he wrote a book claiming that government doesn't understand business.
The negatives are, he is pro amnesty, likes to import cheap foreign labor and was a Romney economic campaign advisor.
Isn’t he the guy who put T&A front and center in his commercials, along with intimations of fellatio?
Good choice.
Never heard that before, care to link one up for us?

I agree with you above comments. We live in So Cal, as did the late Carl Karcher, founder of Carl’s Jr. He was an ardent Catholic. In the lobby of his corporate office in Anaheim was a large statue of St. Francis of Assisi. He was a good man.
Andrew Puzder took over the company and moved it to Santa Barbara. No big deal. He acquired Hardy’s. Since his time as CEO, Carl’s Jr. here is California runs ads on TV with half naked women and highly sexualy suggestive commentary. Really in bad taste.
I trust Trump and hope this will not turn out to be a bad appointment.
