(Vanity) Mark Levin is over the top
vanity

Posted on 12/01/2016 5:45:51 AM PST by Bill S

I’ve been listening to Mark Levin every day for many years. I have bought and read every one of his books. Have given a couple of his books to my recent college graduate granddaughters. I signed up for LevinTV on the first available day. We are a 3 generation family of solid constitutional conservatives including the recent college graduates. However, since the wonderful election of Donald Trump, Mark has nightly ranted against some of the cabinet choices or possible choices. He’s questioned Trump’s policies, etc. He rants against the incoming administration more than the evil Dems. In short I find it nearly impossible to listen to Mark lately, My family members feel the same, We’re trying to enjoy the fantastic Trump victory, but Mark is way over the top with his diatribes. I can feel my blood pressure rise listening to him.Why can’t he comment on the appointments calmly and let’s see how the policies are formed. Does any other Levin fan feel the same way.

I went out at lunch yestersay and sat in my car and happened upon Beck, thought I’d see what he was doing, haven’t listened to him in probably 2 years. Well, he was non-stop Trump bashing, calling the U.S. the biggest currency manipulator not China and on and on ... After two minutes turned him off, never again.

Yup. The NeverTrumpers would rather get their clock cleaned election after election while running “ideologically pure” candidates.

Trump is a finger in the dike. He halted our headlong plunge into Socialism. He made the compromises he had to make to win.

Don’t know why these folks can’t see that.

I’m about this close from unsubscribing from his podcast which has been especially tough because it’s free. I hardly ever listen anymore though and never without reading the recap first.

U.S. President-elect Trump’s nominee for Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin, on Wednesday waded into the long-running battle over the future control of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the largest players in the U.S. home mortgage market, saying that the lenders should be returned to private control.

Yo Whiners Choir, maybe you best sit down and listen to the people Trump is picking before you jump to any more conclusions.

He's already done a lot without any power in a few days!

I've been a huge fan of Trump for a long time.

He wants to Make America great again and he already saved us from TPP, and a tsunami of 3rd world socialist immigrants and Muslim immigrants Hillary was planning on unleashing on USA!

Hillary promised executive amnesty to 40 million illegals in her first 100 days as President. This proves Hillary is 1 million times worse than Obama.

And Hillary plans to dissolve the U.S. border first 100 days:

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/05/25/clinton-releases-plan-dissolve-us-border-within-100-days/

Trump saved America from Islam and Hillary already. Islam is stopped! If Hillary had won or will steal it with this Soros recount then I will fear an invasion of illegals.

there are 7 billion poor 3rd world immigrants in the world and 1.7 billion Muslim potential immigrants Hillary would have dumped on us and made us pay for their healthcare. If stopping that immigration catastrophe is not saving America than what is?

And now the iphone , Carrier Ford will be made in America Again? Yes . Pinch me I'm dreaming. This cannot be this good or is it?

Read his book and you'll be amazed

Levin is an a-hole. Always has been.

Figured that out one night when he was ripping a commercial that had just played, making terrible fun of the announcer.

That ad had been cut by a friend of mine in the radio biz.

I agree, that I didn’t like some of what was said and certainly was wishing that they had come on board . . . but they didn’t.

Trump won without them. Now they can be useful “jackasses” out on the right. I am sure with victory, Trump will quickly figure out a way to use this “opposition.” (Scott Adams (Dibert) has about convinced me that Trump is what Adams calls a “master persuader.”)

Agreed. Mark's not helping now, but rather hurting. We will all be on the alert but so far virtually all of Trump's moves look good. Even Choi to Transportation may yield benefits (pillow talk, doncha' know) Romney may be a fantastic disassembler/rebuilder at State. All these former Goldman Sachs billionaires have shown me they know the business and know what needs to be done to fix the mess. Freddie May and Mac were targeted just today by Mnunchin (or Ross ?, iirc) in favor of privitization.

It looks like the system will be stood on its head....so far anyway. Trump will remain in charge and won't cede policy to an underling.

Yesterday Levin made a big point that Trump received no mandate, which only weakens his efforts to force the changes. Give it a chance, Mark, or you're radio gig will be no longer.

Me too. I bought a few of his books and used to really enjoy listening to Mark’s insights on the Constitution, but I stopped listening to him when he just couldn’t get off the #NEVERTRUMP bandwagon. I emailed him, told him I’d been a constitutional conservative my entire life (I’m 60) and that, at this point, I did not consider a vote for Trump - who was obviously going to put America first once again - as settling for the “lesser of two evils”, i.e., a vote for a true, lifelong American vs. a vote for an evil wench.

At one point, I thought Mark was just a purist blinded by his own self importance and ego, but after listening to him deny the existence of globalists and globalism and even claim he doesn’t understand what globalism is, it’s clear that he’s either a fool or a tool.

Levin needs to back off and really think about what he wants to say. I know he has a radio show that he wishes to fill and has many thoughts about Trump but his negative caterwauling is turning off many of his listeners. He can get much more with honey than vinegar.

He is saying exactly what he wants to say. He chooses his words very carefully and very well. He, his audience, and wife or girlfriend if he has one all have one thing in common with him: He and them are in love with him.

I don’t know how someone could stand to listen to him for that long.
