(Vanity) Mark Levin is over the top
vanity

Posted on 12/01/2016 5:45:51 AM PST by Bill S

I’ve been listening to Mark Levin every day for many years. I have bought and read every one of his books. Have given a couple of his books to my recent college graduate granddaughters. I signed up for LevinTV on the first available day. We are a 3 generation family of solid constitutional conservatives including the recent college graduates. However, since the wonderful election of Donald Trump, Mark has nightly ranted against some of the cabinet choices or possible choices. He’s questioned Trump’s policies, etc. He rants against the incoming administration more than the evil Dems. In short I find it nearly impossible to listen to Mark lately, My family members feel the same, We’re trying to enjoy the fantastic Trump victory, but Mark is way over the top with his diatribes. I can feel my blood pressure rise listening to him.Why can’t he comment on the appointments calmly and let’s see how the policies are formed. Does any other Levin fan feel the same way.

The left believes in getting a slice of bread because they know that eventually they will build to the entire loaf.

The NeverTrump right believes in walking into the bakery, demanding all of the bread, the bakery itself, all of the back profits, the recipes, and the baker’s first born RIGHT NOW or else someone “betrayed them” and they are just going to burn the place down and starve to death....all the while complaining that there is no bread.

We’ll see. After Trump overturns Obama’s executive orders, cuts taxes (including corporate taxes), builds the wall and enforces the nation’s immigration laws, unleashes America’s energy resources, and repeals Obamacare, I’ll believe that he is keeping his promises, and he will also be a great President if he does those things.

Yes. Mark always hammers left-wing morons.

Wrong. Levin never ranted when Lindsay Grahamnesty and Romney defacto endorsed Saint Ted of Goldman during the primaries. Levin also had no problem with Cruz sleeping with Goldman. Literally. Levin is a self interested hypocrite. You need to understand that.

” I do think it’s hypocritical to say “drain the swamp” and then hire DC insiders”

Everyone that works in Washington is not evil by virtue of being there.

“Drain the swamp” means stopping the corruption, not bar everyone that can find the city on a map from service, even if they have committed no wrong-doing, and are going to implement Trump’s vision as he orders.

Guilt by association is not a way to run a nation.

Around the time of the Iowa caucuses, Levin opened several of his programs by complaining about Corn Subsidies. He used that as as backdoor to complain about Trump. Night after night after night.

I found myself listening less and less. Many times, his opening remarks started with Trump-bashing. I would switch him off.

Levin would get soap boxes and rail against whatever. Many times he complained that ‘we need a new Republican party.’ He never quite revealed what that ‘new’ party was. When Trump seemed to be expanding the Republican votership, Levin railed against that. Levin rails against whatever, because he thinks it makes good radio. His online streaming ratings have dropped by around 45% since the last quarter of 2015.

I started listening to the afternoon Phil Valentine Show, live, on WWTN 99.7 FM Nashville TN. He is entertaining, without the heavy politics and candidate-bashing.

==

A funny thing about those corn subsidies — they were not even on the list of concerns for most Iowans during the Iowa caucuses.

Levin is adept at using half-truths and muddled truths for his nightly Trump-trashing.

Welcome back to reality. As someone else said, once a NeverTrump’er always a NeverTrump’er.

His 15 minutes of fame are over. Him and Glenn Beck can share the same room in the poor house.

Yeah, he did. Mark has never liked Graham or Romney.

As for being a self-interested hypocrite, WRONG, if that were the case, would he not just jump in the bandwagon? After all, everyone here insists that he is losing listeners by continuing to stick to what he believes.

I can’t listen for long because although he has points to make he yells them at me. I listened a little last night and he was talking about the sanctuary cities basically giving the finger to the feds and equated it to the nullification of federal laws of the confederate states of America. His point was valid. If they can pick and choose on immigration laws than 1- what good are federal laws and 2- red states should be able to dismiss things like the bathroom issue or obamacare. Valid points but I was totally exhausted by it by the time he got to the end.

Mark voted for Trump. He supported and defended him during the general election when Trump was right, and when he was smeared so Hillary could avoid discussing issues. So, he obviously was not a neverTrumper.
