In October, I had two 4th cousins from Massachusetts come to visit my relatives and me here in Maine. (Both Trump supporters).
One 4th cousin is a man who I hadn’t seen since the early 1970’s. He’s 77 years old, but could pass for 49 or 50, and is built like a linebacker.
Anyway, he said that years ago, he served in the U.S. Army.
At one point in the conversation, he mentioned that he had run into an old Army buddy who was once working at Area 51 in Nevada.
My cousin asked his Army buddy, “Did they have an alien spaceship there?”
My cousin said the man replied, “Yes!”
Area 51 started out as a restricted area because it was surrounded by the Nevada nuclear test sites, then got picked up as the secret airbase for the very early Soviet jet aircraft and missiles that had been stolen, purchased, recovered from crash sites, and taken from Warsaw pact nations in the late 40’s and early 50’s. At that time, they didn’t ANYBODY to know we had the actual jets, much less had been flying them as aggressors for training of the USAF and USN pilots.
Then that secret landing strip got improved for the U-2 and SR71/A12 flight testing, which got it behind the TS/SBI intelligence barriers as well.
Aliens would have needed a background check to get in there back then. Today?

We made it to the back gate two summers ago. I think they took down the "DFA" signs, because I didn't see them. I saw several No Photography Allowed signs. There was nothing to see, we got there at 6PM on a Friday afternoon, and nobody was around, that I could see.
What I found interesting was that the first 10 miles of the road from Rachel was gravel, while the last three to the gate were paved.
Also heard that the "Black Mailbox" no longer exists. While we stopped to check it out, and stretch our legs, a family in another car drove up. They told us they were visiting the US, and they came all the way from New Zealand.

Yeah only about 11 hours drive and 500 miles and you will be in Area 51... Of course the actual Area 51 is embedded in a MUCH larger secure area so the nice men with guns and dogs would drop in to give you some new directions LONG before you touched the dirt of ‘Area 51’. If you were going as straight as possible the nice men guarding the nuclear test sites would say hi long before the ones guarding the UFOs

I agree with others posting on the thread, they weren’t very nice and certainly not military or professional..HA! But I guess the Mojave heat will get to your personality sooner or later. Something tells me they weren’t hired for their “sunny” personalities starting out.. Isn’t it Dale Brown books that have that “area” as the backdrop for so many of the plots? Great reads!
I am sure it was staged. Area 51 does not have a public accessible gate.
