Based entirely on this interview segment it certainly appears that Laura Ingraham has been made an offer and is considering the ramifications:

Just an excellent candid chat between two old friends, Laura Ingraham discussed the possibility of becoming Trump's press secretary on Tucker Carlson's debut program.

Pay cut? She’ll write 20 books off this experience.
To: bigbob
If she takes it I’ll be shocked. Typically it’s Press Secretary then your own show, not the other way around. For her to serve would mean, like Trump, she’ll have to give up a great deal.

Dunno about “pay cut”, but who wouldn’t love the chance to smack around MSM phony journos on a daily basis? Great good fun and LI is just the person to do it!

Kelleyanne Conway for a few months just for fun. She does not need the money either. She would do it just to stick it to the dinosaur media, laughing all the while.

She’s worth $45 million, she’ll be fine. You heard her own words, did she sound like pay was an issue?

Trump took a pay cut too, maybe saving the country is a little more important than the money?

I can't wait to hear Ingraham's response to the first question asked by the Enemedia Press Corpse..
"Seriously?.. Are you serious? You're kidding, right?" She'll laugh AT them not with them and I can GUARANTEE you she won't tell LIES every other sentence like 'Earnestly Joshing' or Jay Carny-val barker.

I doubt an offer has been made.
Had an offer been made, she would have accepted ASAP.
One doesn’t keep the President hanging.
To: MrShoop
Agree.
She would bring intelligence, dignity and grace to that position.

Been watching Laura since she first appeared on Imus in the morning.
Great choice as she is a no B.S. conservative.

Laura is so talented and perfect for this and I hope she ends up with the position.
I realized it during her speech at the Republican convention and have never waivered in the firm belief that Trump’s press secretary ought to be Laura Ingraham!

Typically its Press Secretary then your own show, not the other way around. That's the way Tony Snow did it, too.

Kelleyanne Conway for a few months just for fun. She does not need the money either. She would do it just to stick it to the dinosaur media, laughing all the while. I could see Trump setting up a rotation for the job of press secretary. First Kellyanne. Then Laura. Then a guest appearance by Rush Limbaugh.
It would be a hoot. The press would go nuts.

She could serve the nation...and it would be worth another book.I doubt that she qualifies for food stamps so a cut in pay wouldn't be a huge deal.
