I read the article twice ... didn’t see anywhere that said “get a gun and go find the guy who raped you.

Whoever wrote the headline doesn't know the meaning of the word "murder".
A man reacting defensively to an out of control woman in his own home is not necessarily domestic abuse. However, the female involved is usually assumed to be the “victim”. I lived it back in the ‘90s and now it’s made a comeback...on steroids.
Well, they did in the 1992 and 1996 presidential election.
