There is a large contingent of voters who just want anyone but Hillary, and Trump fits that bill, even for a Sanders supporter. These folks are looking to break the Oligarchs’ grip on our government, regardless of Party affiliation.
So all those Bernie people were beating each other up thinking they were beating up Trump people will now.......
It only benefits them if they were to chose Trump over Hillary. Hillary would mean a lackluster economy providing them with little to nothing, that is guaranteed.

This guy sounds to me like he is a Sanders supporter, because he sure sent the super-delegates a message that they had better really think hard about selecting Hillary.
The majority of Bernie supporters actually agree with socialism (so they think at least) and they ain’t voting for Trump. But on the fringes, if Trump plays his cards right, there might be a minority who were attracted to Bernie because he’s independent of Wall Street lobbyists and was willing to critique trade deals that kill American jobs, who might then be attracted to Trump.
Ultimately though I think Trump will win or lose based on his ability to nominally conservative/Republican voters who sat out the last couple of elections to the polls.
