I was sorry about Osha. I liked her.

Really great episode.

In the Unsullied, Danny has arguably the best infantry in the world. With the Dothraki, she has the best cavalry in the world. And she has dragons.

I’m hoping that Sansa has Littlefinger killed at the earliest possible opportunity. He cannot be trusted, and he only has friends if he is alive to work his schemes. As a dead man, he has no power and no friends. So kill him on sight.

I’m glad that Daenerys managed to get out of her predicament without having to be “rescued” by Drogon.

This Season needs some "Umph!"

So Dany Has her Dothraki back.

yay

What will she do with them?

If she does ever finally Invade Westeros, will she do a better job of changing their whole society top to bottom than she has done in Slavers Bay?

Or Will she continue to Spin her Wheels?

I see they did the Pink Letter thing, but did it out of Order >:(

The Knights of The Vale Ride, North, Apparently on a Train, because damn they look they are getting there fast.

Are We Building up to CleganeBowl?

Because we need to build up to something.

Really? I am glad the Unsullied were free for Dany otherwise I'd want my money back.

I haven't been impressed.

Finally to Echo Ned Stark in Season One "THEY HAVE NO SHIPS ROBERT!"

“In the Unsullied, Danny has arguably the best infantry in the world. With the Dothraki, she has the best cavalry in the world. And she has dragons.”

And with Euron Greyjoy the best navy in the world? That’s where the books were headed (although it was Victarion who was sailing East to meet up with Daenerys).

“What will she do with them?”

Conquer Yunkai, Astapor, and Volantis?

“The Knights of The Vale Ride, North, Apparently on a Train, because damn they look they are getting there fast.”

I suppose that’s where Sansa will get her army? Her real army I mean.

“Are We Building up to CleganeBowl?”

Yes, could be. Remember, Ian McShane said his character (the “Elder Brother”?) is in only one episode and brings someone back (saves Sandor from dying?). If Cersei uses Gregor as her champion then the “Faith” will need a champion. Who better than The Hound to fight his own brother which was already set in motion in the first season?

Maybe.

Kingmoot = Euron (or Victarion) going East with Iron Men navy to get Daenarys. It’s in the books so...

This is David and Dan's Opinion of the Books.

In The Books Asha (Yara) and Theon are Prisoners of Stannis.

Stannis Plans to have Theon burnt at the Stake to make the Northern Lords Happy, since you know, this is all his Fault.

It does look like the Show is going to do all that North Politicking that Stannis did but with Jon Snow instead.

Because the Showrunners apparently have an unnatural hatred for Stannis for some reason.

Dany has conquered Yunkai and Astapor before and look at what happened.

She truly only has two options.

One, to Put to Death, every single Wise Master and Slave holder above the age of Ten.

Two: Tyrions's Strategy of Bribery and Diplomacy.

Must like the Middle East today, it is a perfect allegory.

These People can't be Changed Peacefully, Only Destroyed and their Whole Society torn down to burnt rafters.

CleganeBowl would be pretty freaking awesome!

Seems like they are just spinning their wheels until the next book comes out. You almost feel like the director is telling them to stall for a few seconds in every scene like they are trying to run out the clock.

It makes watching the series highly unsatisfactory.

That is basically what they are doing.

And beyond that, they have gone so far off the rails of the books that I really have no idea what the Hell is even going on.

I did like watching Daenarys walk out of the fire though. That part was cool.

Seems like they are just spinning their wheels until the next book comes out.

Given the pace at which Martin writes these days, that's not a plan that's going to work.

The first three books - the good ones - came out quickly. The last good one came out in 2000 - good grief. Then a five year gap for 'Feast of Crows', which was my WTF moment for the books. Then a six year gap for 'Dance of Dragons', which consisted of Tyrion aimlessly trekking back and forth across the continent he fled to a decade earlier, and the famous 'Myreneese Knot', which Martin resolved by having his heroine get a case of the runs.

I may read 'Winds of Winter' when it comes out in paperback, but I'd rather read the next Joe Abercrombie 'First Law' book if I want fantasy these days - there's a guy who knows how to write a compelling story with a resolution in less than three decades.

Of course, Martin isn't the worst. I'm still waiting for the next book in David Gerrold's 'Chtorr' series (last one ended on a cliff-hanger), and I read the last one in college.
